Ex-Twitter Exec Admits It Was Wrong to Censor Hunter Laptop Story
A former Twitter executive conceded Tuesday that the social media company made the wrong call when it censored stories about Hunter Biden’s laptop in the lead up to the 2020 presidential election.
Confession is good for the soul...even if it is a couple years late.
No worries, though - Mr. Musk will be laying out all the behind-the-scenes BULLS HIT the Twitter execs engaged in re this "decision".

It's called CYA mode. They know Musk is going to publish the HOW about the censorship regime and they are going to look like sheet. Gotta get out in front of the story.
This kid is still a douchebag.

They knew it when they were doing it.
Now that their idiot is in charge who cares what the truth is, right?

You know, I could understand, "In hindsight, we made the wrong call. We weren't sure what we were dealing with."
But to make the decision with foreknowledge with the intent to manipulate, no.

Agreed.
Bottom line, we are dealing with unethical people who feel fully entitled to lie/cheat/steal in order to get their way on political matters, *and* have the technical/financial resources to do so on a mass scale. Everything else is detail, imho.

I only have one question. If he was pretty much in charge of this but didn't think it needed to be censored, who made the decision?

Social media, like the mainstream media, is controlled by the Far Left and its minions. One nimrod trying to clear his conscience or cover his backside matters not. We’re a long long way from having an impartial media whose job is to hold politicians accountable regardless of political party.

The guy who made the quote is named Yoel Roth, and I admit I don’t know his nationality. But he, as an individual, is beside the point. To me, he simply represents a class of people who are not loyal to any nation — America, Israel, or any other — and instead have pledged themselves to an ideology, a moral/political vision of how they think the world should be organized.
