Last year NIU would've hosted Kent in 40 degree weather and pouring rain, we would've been lucky if Huskie Stadium were more than half full in those conditions. At the end of the day Ford Field provides climate certainty, is a close drive for most of our programs, and gives teams the chance to play in an NFL stadium. It's our best option by far.

No, someone else knocked the crowd. I stated it was still attended relatively well compared to the past. The Michigan schools, Toledo and BG will always travel the best. It still matters what the end of the season coming into that game looks like for the fan bases. We limped in and it slightly showed. But 15k still looked good on the sidelines. The MAC as an entity was happy that matchup came into fruition I bet. Ohio showed well too! Almost matched our side.

Toledo is the worst - “Fans” who tried to organize a MAC Championship boycott because their program isn’t vintage Boisé State. They deserve nothing good.

Well, A fan mentioned a boycott. Not as though there was any kind of push for one. And deservedly or not- WE WON THE MAC!

I had a feeling Toledo would get the W. Seems like the favorite always struggles in the MAC Championship.

BTW, for all this talk about Ohio's championship drought, they are middle-of-the-pack in terms of total won, so I don't feel as sorry for them as most here.
