If Rudd or Bowen were running the show, I’d say it has a shot

I can’t see Veach or Hardgrave negotiating with Sanders.

I do think Sanders would entertain the possibility if the pay was right. This is the sort of situation/city he could thrive in— even if it was only for a year or two. Not a huge culture shift from Jackson and a relatively easy schedule with a young but talented roster. It would fit into his trajectory much more than Colorado.

I was thinking the same.

Supposedly he’s been offered the Colorado job and has also had talks with USF

I don't think that is the direction we should go, but I absolutely think Sanders would consider taking it.

He repeated declined the offer to schedule North Dakota State University because he doesn't want to play stiff competition and be exposed. He wants to use being big fish in puddle to find a bigger pond.

That’s probably the most accurate take

People don’t realize those HBCUs are another level lower than the rest of FCS. They don’t even send a team to the playoffs because they got trounced every year.

Rudd maybe but there is no way Bowen would want Prime. He was forced to hire Penny

Maybe this year Deion can beat the Meac team in the HBCU championship game

Im going to be kind here:

Deion Sanders is shooting for the FSU job or an NFL job , he has plenty of money already AND he is getting publicity and endorsements as the JSU coach...

Why would he come here?

These have very little to do with the other, Deion will have a very similar impact as Coach Penny (from a football perspective), there's always going to be a "caliber" of overall players (to compile a complete roster) that Deion CAN'T get. However, to be able to piss of the likes of Nick Saban is any area that we here at Memphis will never relish/bask-in with the direction that we are headed. Especially without being able to see "The forest for the trees).
Being a "Leader of Men" is a calling;it's necessary;it's underappreciated just as Deions' NIL from some of the posters here....The Memphis community could desperately benefit a "leader" the likeness of Deion....
Those whom fear attending events, because of crime. If the hiring of Deion were to dramatically improve upon the moral of a percentage of our misguided youth. What is the value of that....Let alone causing an influx of revenue/support from communities that represent the "majority" of our city that just don't give a dayum. However, when a man/leader that embodies the character/presence and humility begins o speak publicly and visit our schools neighborhoods, visiting homes and speaking to our families....The culture starts to change, it begins to smile; to perk up from a sensation of hope and promise....He's a WINNER, simply put....Always has been, always will...Memphis is in some tremendously fertile recruiting grounds....How many recruits do we lose to MSU/Ark/OleMiss/UT/UK....Well, that would NO LONGER be the case.....

Please forgive Me....for I have just illustrated ALL of the aspects of a LEADER that our supporters DON'T want. A LEADER DEION
