Jordan Riley would be a great pickup if his Father is not too much to deal with.

He would be the most athletic guy we have had in forever, including Jenkins.

Expand on the father thing...whats the story with that?

He is very outspoken and puts down the school/other players.

He also shot about 19% from deep this year. Should fit right in.

He may never be a great shooter but he didn't have many opportunities. I think his shot looks like he could become an ok shooter.

He would have the potential to be one of the best players in the conference though. He reminds me of Kinsey from Marshall.

Sounds like the situation we had with Joe Reece and Hueitt.

19%. If he comes here would he be the only person whose 3 point shooting percentage increase under Jones?

I mean if he shoots 25% here, we’d complain like hell, and rightfully so…but it would be a big improvement for him!!

???

I also think that he wouldn't be relied upon to shoot 3 pointers that much. Trey Freeman is a legend and one of the best players to don an Old Dominion jersey over the past decade and altho he shot ~35% he only made 1.3 three's per game.

Riley would be different type of player than we have had in awhile. He's a super athletic wing. He would help the defense and be able to get in transition. In a lot of ways, he's a bigger, stronger version of Jenkins.

Solid assist to turnover ratio 03-lmfao

Seriously, from what has been posted here about him and looking at this guy's stats, I feel like this cat would be rotting in JJ's doghouse for the entire season.

Yes, that ratio was comparable to Stanley's (6 assists, 22 turnovers) for ODU while playing 23 minutes per game. Riley seems like a guy that primarily needs to get to the basket to be successful. Maybe his shot will improve during the off season, though that doesn't seem to be the norm for ODU.

Probably wont have to worry about it since Seton Hall and others have reached out.

Others I've heard about:

Devin Ceaser
Joshua Rivera

Justin McCoy (this could have been total speculation)

It seems the staff are speaking with very athletic wings

My friend, would you mind listing a team besides players names please? Some of us don’t follow this stuff and you follow it all more then about anyone. It would just be helpful to folks like me to see where these guys currently are/were. Thanks a lot.

What good is athleticism is you can't make a lay up, don't know how to box out, can't shoot a 3 or make free throws?

I'd like to see a couple of kids who are fundamentally sound and can shoot.

Rivera sounds like a JJ recruit.

The other two don't really sound all that great. A guy who averages 5ppg in the MAC, and a guy who averages 1.something on the worst UNC squad in memory.
