Does not bode well for MAC play either.

I bet Hammock’s “game time decision” has Kentucky very confused and concerned because they practiced all week expecting Lombardi and now they have no idea how to defend Hampton.

Ha! I’m sure you’re right. Kentucky must now be in hurry-up mode last minute preparation and players are pouring sweat. A genius move by Hammock!

Didn't we win the MAC by way of ultra conservative offense when Hare was a sophomore?

Looks like we were fine. Our offense was led by Cameron Stingley and Hare. Difference was a decent defense.

KY writer tweeted Rocky has a brace on and isn't warming up with other Qbs

I attended a practice in mid August and he wore the brace and participated fully.

But if Rocky or whoever the QB is, isn’t a run threat that really hurts the Offense overall. Several times last year the defense would go to Brown or Ducker and Rocky kept it for nice gains and TDs.

It’s a big loss to our run game. Very one dimensional attack now. Last years attack had so much more for the defense to watch out for - Lombardi keeper, Ratdog out of the backfield catching passes, Brown with speed, Ducker with power. Now we are basically just speed backs with Waylee/Brown up the middle.

It's the reason we slow down in the 2nd half, the defense can make adjustments because they know what the game plan is. ALWAYS a run up the middle on first down.

Yes, and as many of us have stated, it’s all on the coaches.

Funny how when they opened the playbook just a little bit we were able to hang with the #8 team in the country....but then retreated again in the 2nd half. Seems like when the team has a chance they go conservative and squanders whatever lead or momentum they have.

Lombardi or Hampton listed as starter. Lynch as backup.

I’m fully believing it’s Hampton. They are really hush hush on the Lombardi injury trying to keep everyone guessing. It would do Hampton’s confidence well to get a win this weekend.

I’m wondering if it’s something like a torn meniscus. It’s pretty minor but does require simple surgery with a little recovery time. You can walk around fine on it, you just need it cleaned up.

BSU only have two sacks, so I have no problem with starting Hampton. Their QB does not run. They do have a dual threat QB which some on the BSU message board want him to play. I am confident we can win on the road in Muncie.

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
