Which is what makes it funny that they are all in love with him.
Well he is a Gator...(prior to that he was basically a Bull writing in Tampa...then a Gator writing in Orlando...and now he is still a Gator writing in Gainesville as their main beat writer).
Gators despise UCF so much these days...as evidence of the pain he still feels from UCF's win over the Gators back in Dec that was played on usf's home field....so he has to throw some insults back toward Orlando to please his jorts wearing audience in Gainesville.

FYI, on a spherical coordinate system. Central would be a common direction.
We know Millican designed FTU on a spherical plane because he often referenced Student Union as the Origin. The Master Plan has a lot of buildings designed radially from the Student Union. For a Space University, it was a funny joke to give directions spherically because North, East, South, West doesn't exist in space without Earth's magnetic poles.

I hate to bust you bubble. That was a big win for UCF over UF, but they have bigger fish to fry. You guys are acting just like the USF fans when they beat FSU and UM. To those fan bases that’s just one bad blip, unless you play and beat them again, they are more focus on their conference foes.

2) USF may have chances in the future. Nothing about what is happening now is forever.
Accurate as always
Where you fall on Jeff Scott's job status these day? Retain or Fire? Do you have a minimum number of games he needs to win this season?
Even though he has barely won any games, I don't think Scott is on a hot seat this year. His first year was the virus year, so it wouldn't surprise me if USF admins viewed this season as kind of a quasi year two.
So I expect Scott to be the coach at the start of next season, even if he goes 0-11 vs FBS this year. Which I think is a distinct possibility, btw. I don't see a guaranteed, or even likely, win on our schedule from here on out.
Hope I am pleasantly surprised.
I’m surprised people think USF is the worst team in the AAC this year. I think Temple Tulsa and Navy could be worse.
Tulsa is bad enough this year to be the worst team in the AAC *most years*.
But this is a special year. Tulsa has no chance at that title *this year*. Too much competition.

Yeah it’s the last chance for the remaining schools to claim the prize before Rice moves in and permanently claims it.

Fun fact about this beat writer. Back all those years ago when USF sported a good football team, he was covering the UFC USF game. It he went to USF, wrote a pro UCF piece and took a picture of himself riding the bull statue on campus. It was bulletin board material for the 60 point drubbing the bulls gave UCF.

We could hold a four-team "playoff" at season end to decide it?
Whoever loses both their games is worst.

Again, just like on the USNWR thread... literally ANYTHING you can find negative about USF has to get it's own thread. Anything positive has to be flamed. There must be dozens of these thread. Jesus... I guess to some guys, the rivalry is their whole lifestyle...

Oh we have what it takes to be a contender, to be sure.
At least we already got our OCS so we check THAT box…

Of course it is, these ucf trolls live for anything negative about USF.
I remember a time back on the Rivals message board when USF posters absolutely use to rip UCF posters for comparing their program to the Bulls. UCF posters were clamoring for respectability and USF posters were having none of it. Amazing to see how the fortunes have changed for the two schools.
Everything is cyclical and that includes fans gloating. That’s why I remind everyone when they are up, be ready for the down.
But there are some on this board that have always spent their time trolling anything related to USF, even back to our CUSA days

I can't wait for the UCF fans (specifically KnightLight and a couple others) to leave. Congrats on your B12 invite. Seriously, the school earned it but this non-stop kicking USF while they're down is beyond old. I'm no USF fan at all but we get it already. Show some class.

Hate to burst your bubble but people like KL won’t be leaving, they live for USF stories they won’t get their fix on the Big12 board.

lol those threads still exist in the archives. Most of the USF fans that were nasty to UCF fans have left the boards.
CubanBull has always been pretty accepting of UCF. He was actually the first Big East poster to welcome UCF fans to this board.
2 Months before UCF officially got the Big East invite, Cubanbull started a thread and welcomed UCF fans.

USF fans if you disaprove of this addition, i suggest you think twice about talking smack about it. At the end of the day if they are in then they are in, nothing you can say will change that.
UCF fans- welcome to our boards, if you are going to post stuff like you rather stay in CUSA, then do it in that board not this one. If you want to get into smack talk about USF, we have a board for that. This will not be allowed in the main board.

Honestly, UCF caught a lucky break, if UCLA/USC leaves in 2021 instead of this Summer they aren't getting a Big 12 invite.

David Whitley acted like a prick about UCF when he worked for the Orlando Sentinel. He once went to USF's campus wearing a UCF shirt and deliberately made an ass of himself riding on their bull statue. He called some phone numbers out west somewhere and asked random people if they'd heard of UCF, which apparently was supposed to prove how beneath him and everything else UCF was at the time and how no one knew who we were. This clown was on the D-list of sportswriters at the Sentinel. Very glad that he's no longer there.

He is always been a clown and willing to take shots at those he thought as not worthy in his eyes, which is why I’m even astounded that anyone that knows who he is would even quote him.

Thanks for digging that up, I try to remain impartial, I’m not perfect and I slip sometimes. I’m not going to say I root for UCF, but I’m not one of those that thinks one school has to be down for the other to succeed
