Rice has:
Three Cotton Bowl wins
One Orange Bowl win.
And yes we have a Hawaii Bowl win, so we’re even on that line.

Otherwise what has ecu ever done?

You know that's only like 300k people? Half of whom are over 80 and on hospice.

Myrtle Beach metro is growing at a rate of 3.82% with Conway growing at 3.02%. The area is booming. The last I checked the Myrtle Beach metro population was a little over 500k. It's a small but growing metro that's not oversaturated with other sports. Coastal should benefit long term.

According to Matt Brown, "Admins from GSU weren't interested in an invitation even though they were included on an initial list of 16 programs presented to AAC Presidents and the consulting firm that was assisting the league to navigate the rebuild of their conference."

Georgia State wasn't interested. I'm sure that became even more firm when it was becoming known who was likely going to be invited to the AAC.

Not everyone. I am sure that the AAC will keep saying they have power, and the SBC will demonstrate they have it. Once your top 3 move on and you get your new teams it is a whole new game.

We love seeing Charlotte use the #P6. Please encourage them to continue it.

Both teams were pretty pathetic on offense tonight for sure but our QB was much more efficient last year and I don’t believe that the Pirates defense is that much better than the Hokies. Is your offense better? It’d be hard not to really. But without seeing a down of football that’s big talk. Know who else felt confident preseason?

I'll be more impressed with ODU when they beat a team who didn't turn the ball over five times. If you get five turnovers you're *supposed* to win.

Troy is a 21.5 point dog for cryin' out loud.

South Carolina is essentially a two touchdown favorite at home.

App State definitely can beat UNC in Boone.

Cool story.

By 9/28/21, Georgia State knew it wasn’t getting an invite and responded by putting the word out to friendly media that it didn’t want one in the first place. As a Georgia State fan/alum, I understand that response as a PR-move. That doesn’t make it true. And it’s not true.

What’s done is done. The AAC made 2 strong adds (UAB/UTSA), two decent adds (UNT/FAU), one weak add (Rice) and one terrible add (UNCC). After AAC took what it wanted (or should I say, after AAC took what ESPN told it to take?), the Sun Belt took what it wanted from what was left. And as I’m happy to admit, the Belt did rather well for itself in that process. Life goes on.

I’m genuinely asking…where is the evidence for the “ESPN told us who to take” talking point? I’ve heard it from AAC and SBC fans who parrot each other that “the mouse decided”. Is there any actual evidence or is it a product of the echo chamber?

Hey they're proud of beating a team from the American...

Wait, what?
ODU win over an ACC team (that went 6-7(4-4) last year) has nothing to do with the AAC? Then why are they here?

Weird

Happy for ODU but I don’t think either ODU or VT are very good. I could be wrong. I personally like ODU and we have a history in basketball. As for CLT let’s see what happens after they make their program investments and continue to build on facilities.

Rice is staring to make the investments they should have made years ago. Rice is also binding.

Stop feeding the Sun Belt trolls.
