All of Bama's projected high draft picks are actually playing which is refreshing.

I saw an interview with Saban last week where he said "you know how you get ready for the draft? You play against good competition and show on tape. You get ready for the draft by working hard and being there for your team. That isn't lost on NFL staffs."

Pretty much what I said a couple of pages ago... that you disagreed with.

I'm a big fan of libertarian you do you.

Those kids thought staying was important. UC's didn't. Is that the UC's kids problem or the problem of who gave them the messaging?

It was a simple question.

Why are coaches selfish jerks for dumping their teams for bowl games and players aren't?

Sorry that your boy Saban agrees with me... and you were for it before you were against it.

Lol.

You completely missed the point due to the raised hackles and taking it personally.

There was nobody at UC giving that messaging. We had a guy who was a grad assistant 11 months prior to the bowl game in the role as a OC. I'm sure our TEs and WRs knew it would be a dumpster fire with that guy calling plays for Evan Prater. Viola.

Good game going between Tulane and USC. Feels like USC should be way ahead, but it's only 28-24 in the third quarter.

Only negative for Tulane is that now they have to attempt to pass the ball.

I've shut thus game off a few times thinking it was done only for Tulane to come back. Lincoln Reily has a juggernaut on offense but doesn't seem to even coach a defense.

And Cincinnati remains the only team to not take advantage of their chance in these bowls...

Tulane has gashed them all game...it's almost like they didn't even attempt to scout them.

Coaches who spend half of the season collecting a paycheck while actively looking for another job are selfish jerks. And they are selfish jerks to the players who they asked to sacrifice for them and demanded full buy-in all the while mentally checking out themselves. Perhaps selfish hypocrites is a better fit. Tell me why I'm wrong.

I don't have a problem with players bailing out if they have a cruddy bowl game that not even many diehard fans are going to with grad assistants game planning and coaching position groups.

Christ, I have like 13 UC bowl games in person under my belt and I only watched out of habit until halftime and then went and worked on a project rather than spend 2 more hours of my life on that dreck.

Orange bowl against tech really stung. That's one where I thought we were pretty even talent wise. The peach hurt because we were right there and couldn't finish. But losing to FL in the sugar and the Cotton were pretty inevitable unfortunately. We were outgunned top to bottom.

UC choked in the Peach Bowl. The game was theirs.

A true freshman kicker makes a career long field goal against us (that he still hasn't matched)...Cincinnati just can't win anything lol.

Yup. Fickell ball killed us in that one. We had a chance to put them away after Jerome Ford broke that touchdown off but instead we spent a few series watching Metz get destroyed until Georgia got their heads together.
