RE: Trump & FBI Raid
If finding these classified docs means we don't get Biden or Trump in 2024, I think we all win.

Garland appointing Special Council was the best thing he could have done. This is just as worthy of investigation as the Trump documents. The Special Council gets that done without the conflict of interest, both real and perceived, that a political appointee would have come with.

OT, but it's pretty clear DeSantis will be the nominee if Trump drops out for whatever reason. However I have no idea who's waiting in the wings on the Democratic side if Biden steps aside, though Jeffries has the potential to grow in stature. I don't think Harris will get the nomination.

Agreed that it was the right thing to do, even if it isn't traditionally when a Special Council would be used. But, to my earlier point, the MAGA crowd is already spinning that Hur (a Trump appointee) is tainted by his time spent with the DOJ. A guy that was (A) appointed by Trump and (B) served under another Trump appointee is tainted in his short time there. That murky water must run deep and fast. No matter what, if it doesn't prop Trump up and persecute all others, it's "the swamp", "fake news", "witch hunt", "weaponization", blah, blah, blah. They just don't care. What's more, is that if Hur comes out and says Biden is culpable, they will all prop him up on a golden chair and parade him around DC as the one man that couldn't be tarnished...as though other words had never been spoken.

Dear Brownandgoldlaker,
Using a statement from Devin Nunes as some kind of authoritative position about Mr. Hur, in my opinion, is pure bull. Nunes is a person on a Trump group to help Trump. He also voted 96% of the time with Trump when a member of congress. Quoting the New York Post as a reliable source of information. when it comes to either Nunes or Trump, is like quoting Fox News to give an objective opinion.
