Most of the ones who have given up probably believe an 8 team playoff with 7 or 8 P5 teams is the only logical tournament.

The Tigers can win the game. It is not likely that they will do so but they could - it's why they actually play the games.

If you are that hard core and cannot tolerate reasonable people with reasonable opinions then go liquidate every asset you have, download a sports betting app, and put it all on the Tigers. Do it or you don't REALLY THINK THE TIGERS WILL WIN AND THIS MESSAGE BOARD POSING IS ALL FOR SHOW. Hell to win your bet the Tigers don't even have to win the game they just have to cover; so you will start the game with a 16.5 point lead.

Being a fan does not require suspending reality.

Well said

04-cheers yep

Being a fan does not require a bet. I usually don't bet on teenagers but i did place a small wager and took the points. That doesn't mean I think the Tigers need them. I believe with my whole being the Tigers will win the game, and I will not be disappointed as long as the game is played. I don't expect some to the 23 to understand this.

I've picked them to lose, and they've won.
One thing remains constant - I always root for them.
No exception.

100%

Always want the Tigers to win and always root for them to win.

There are certain posters on here who have confused wanting and rooting with picking / predicting a Tiger victory and labeling those who don't predict a Tiger victory in every game as 'non-fan's.

Really idiotic....

statistics say we're due a win in Starkville. I mean, we've beat Ole Miss twice in Oxford since we last won a game in Starkvegas. (1993)

It's time.

that said, my head says pick MSU (hopefully I'm just thinking Memphis State lol)

RE: Mississippi St. Football Preview
I hope the Dogs have the same view of our rushing attack as people on this board. Let them forget that we were a Top 15 rushing team going into the 6th game last season with a Top 5 rusher in the nation.

Injuries to both the OL and RB units killed our stats for the season, not a lack of talent or ability.

We have added even more talent and depth for the upcoming season. We have a QB that can keep their defense honest and an offense that can attack them. No, I don't see the stable of RBs that we had in 2018, but ZERO teams in the NCAA have had FIVE RBs currently in the NFL on a team at one time. However, other than that stable, I think this might be the deepest and best we have had in the multiple decades that I have followed the team.

Defense returns enough talent to keep me happy, but some questions as well. There were great additions from recruiting and transfer portals, so we will see what we get.

My bet, Tigers cover, but I am not sure they win outright. My vote is Tigers win, because I think it is almost as possible as losing.

The rb room is stacked at the moment. Brandon Thomas, Asa Martin (people forget Asa was the #9 rb in the country out of high school), Rodrigues Clark, Marquavius Weaver, Jay Ducker, Andarius Coffey. All of these guys are extremely talented. And I think Cramsey is creative and experienced enough to find different ways to get them the ball. Looking forward to this season.

What about JP Martin and Sutton Smith?

JP Martin is no longer on the roster. Sutton Smith has the potential to be a star but he is a true freshman this season.

So do we refer to him as "PJ" now?
