RE: More conference moves
If the WCC loses Gonzaga, they will be down two as BYU is also leaving and joining the BIG12. They may take more than Seattle.

Please not Cal Baptist. It will already be bad enough if we lose Seattle, I don't want to lose the Lancers also.

Would the WAC want/take Central Arkansas?

Portland would be in favor of a Seattle add. I have a feeling that WCC will replace Zags and BYU with 3 schools. Who those 3 will be no clue but I bet a mixture of SU CBU GCU DU will be in the mix for WCC. But there is something about being in the WAC where its going to be wide open for most schools in basketball when in the WCC St Marys USF will have a lot to say about who's coming out of the WCC.

I believe the Wac is a good conference right now, but if we lose 3 of GCU or Cal Baptist or Seattle ( I am not sure who DU is) we are not going to be near as good.

I am ok if the conference loses both CBU and Seattle as they are the two outliers leaving a good mix of Arizona and Utah plus a healthy dose of Texas schools

Ya it wouldn't be ideal for appearances of stability, but it doesn't affect the football numbers and tightens the footprint a bit.

I think the worst name to date is A&M-commerce at ft. worth. just as bad as UT-Arlington at ft. worth for our downtown ft. worth offerings at the old santa fe railroad building. not sure how branches are allowed to have branches but I'm not in charge. UTA even has a large MBA program in china..not sure what they call it.

For a while there was something called Texas A&M Kingsville System Center at San Antonio.

Can't wait until they merge Corpus & Kingsville & make it Gulf Coast A&M.

Let's see, Islanders + Javelinas. The Sea Pigs? The Tidal Boar?

South Texas Surf n Turf

well, it was named Texas A&I-corpus christi for a while.... back in the day when I was a student at A&I, ucc was pretty much laughed about but I am sure they have improved over the years since being taken in by the A&M system.
