RE: DeAndre Williams is returning
That’s pretty big
Lester would be big
Don’t be so dismissive of the Lawsons and Lomax. Bring all of them and find another big and this is a pretty damn good team

It's June, never too early to start panicking. I don't know how you have managed without it since March.
It's not panicking-- it's just being realistic. Davis won't be able to play to his max if Dandridge is starting or plays significant minutes. We need to be up-tempo-- and Dandridge can't offer that outside of short spurts.
I'm sure this isn't the finalized roster-- but I also don't think we will score a high quality big this late in the game. Kao, Chandler, and Dandridge all can offer spot minutes. We can maybe get another bandaid big, but I'd almost rather play small ball than go that route.

I am just waiting to be proved wrong on the Lawsons. Other than a hustle play here or there, I don't think they will give us too much.

Hopefully we've seen the last of the toxicity that screwed up that 7-8 game stretch last season where we went 0hfer whatever it was.

Have a feeling the scouts may have told Williams that his NBA dreams are not going to happen. That he should take advantage of his opportunity to get a degree and focus on life after basketball. As he will be 26 before the season starts.

He'll be 27 by the time the 2023-24 season rolls around. The NBA is not in his future.

He just needs to work harder and get rid of that lazy mindset. He hasn't so far, but who knows.
I remember when I was living in Houston and Earl Campbell was the running back. I learned a definition of a racist when I heard an Oilers fan in the stands call Mr Campbell lazy at a game.

Saying a black is lazy is now racist?
Saying Earl Campbell, is.

Saying DeAndre Williams is lazy, is racist. But everyone knows it is no longer correct to be racist so everyone claims not to be racist, even as they make racist remarks.

No one said Deandre was lazy. It was Malcom. Hard to argue against that, based upon 3 years of opportunity to get into better shape - assuming it's not a medical condition.
If someone said everyone on the team was lazy except Camden, then that would be racist. Calling out one player who exhibits lazy tendencies is NOT racist.
Equating remarks about one person's work ethic to a commentary on race, could be consider more racist than the person talking about the work ethic. It implies you have subconscious thoughts that attribute laziness to black people.

Not many things are more racist than liberals who will go out of their way to not call a lazy black man lazy because they want to be considered woke or soften truth because they feel sorry for events a culture endured in the past.
Im sure Toppert cared about Malcolm and wanted to help him become the best basketball player he can be. I dont think softening the truth would help that cause
