Perhaps it is part of a potential redshirt process? Or a potential position change? I know there are less restrictions on that than before but I'm just throwing out guesses at this point.

As we wake up this Mr. Blount is moved up on the roster and listed as #13. We need depth at the QB position this year.

agree. I also wouldn't mind seeing another QB on our roster get some reps for experience. Would love if that was Austin

Count me in the group who fears for an injury to Powell.

We have built an offense around excellent receivers. What good are great receivers and QBs who are really better runners than throwers?

As they say, all coins have two sides...I hope that we do see Powell on the sidelines often because EMU has such a significant lead they put in the backups at QB to give them game experience.

I love that idea. Across the board it would be great to beat EKU by 49 and get as many guys for us as possible some game tape. EKU is a good FCS school, so it will take a valiant effort, but it would be great to get some younger guys some reps.
