Texas A&M looks suspect against Tennecheat.. but looks like they run out of gas after all those games in a row.. SMU might have a chance to get in as the last 4.. They also need Richmond to lose.

Houston

3 Kenpom
5 Sagarin

Memphis
31 NET
22 BPI
26 Kenpom
20 Sagarin

All will go up 3-5 spots with a win today. Based on what?

Now that I'm out of Chaco Canyon, I've had a chance to look at some simulations. From what I'm seeing, if we lose tonight to Houston, we are still a 7 seed. Of course that's all based on statistical analysis and what the committee decides will be based on both subjective and objective factors, but the aforementioned number is a reasonable baseline using objective data.

I would say 6 with a win and 7 with a loss seem reasonable. Hopefully, the committee is reasonable.

I think we deserve a 6 if we win but I’m feeling 8/9 right now..hope they are kind to us.

Unlikely, but wouldn’t it be something if we had opportunity to play against Duke with all that end-of-career hoopla (Coach K, not Penny!) in the air? Somebody is going to get that draw.

Looks like Richmond is going to pull it out. SMU fans are going to have a long afternoon.

It was going to be by a sliver if SMU got in, and this makes it harder. But Davidson could also have just played themselves onto the chopping block.

Yeah Timberlake seems to play like a really short 4. Reminds me of that kid we had during Cal's years, Robinson? I cant place his name right now.

This is science?

To be clear, Lunardi had us as a 9 coming into the AAC tourney.
He then moved us to an 8 after SMU (I think).

Palm was the one who had us as an 11 after SMU, but then mysteriously moved us up to a 9 just before the Houston game.
