Yes. AK definitely implied he wanted upgrades in The Bart.

Some observations:

a. Seventeen Golden Girls! The most ever? This is such a better look. Glad to see those students enjoying their first game in Bartow.

b. There are few things in this world that cannot be made better with more tuba.

c. Has Jamal Son of Buck found himself? This could be huge for us. Would have liked to see some minutes for #4, too.

d. Damn, USM is unathletic outside of #14.

e. Club section? Maybe a working scoreboard first.

These are my observations.

Yeah…exactly.
Club level for those people who pay big bucks…and if they don’t show up to sit in club seats, you can’t really tell.

Win-win if people buy club seats instead of prime courtside(ish) seats. UAB still gets the donor money, but it doesn’t look as bad when those seats are empty

Since conference season started, I've learned how to watch this team.

First half: Doesn't matter. Just relax and hope for some highlight dunks.

First three minutes of second half: Are they here yet? They might be here ... maybe.

Next five minutes of second half: Dang, why aren't they awake? Shouldn't we be hitting shots? What the heck?

Final minutes: Damn this team is A-MAZ-ING! We kick so much butt! We're going to the Sweet 16 Baby!

(Note: I didn't watch the Marshal game, and I am acting like it never happened.)

Can't believe this wasn't my first thought but this is genius. All those donations are great but it's going to be a bad look once we're in the AAC and on national TV on a somewhat frequent basis.

If it ever gets to the point where there's a lively student section then it would be cool to shift them to being on TV, similar to how a lot of modern arenas are being built.

I saw that. I thought an offensive foul should have been called on Stevenson, but then Rongie fouled as the shot was being made. It was a bang-bang play that went against us.

You are correct sir. They sometimes seat other guests there but that is the primary function. Behind it is the recruit's lounge which is really nice.

Yeah he looks good. He's looked good on both sides of the floor, and seems confident too. He doesn't look in over his head. He is in the right spot on defense most of the team and has come away with some good blocks and steals.

6 pts, 5 rebounds FOUR blocks, and one steal against MTSU

4 pts, 1 rebound, 2 steals against USM.

Gordon does look much improved.

I don't think coach wanted him to shoot that long shot with 40secs left after the order was hold off on shooting at all.

I could hear coach yelling at him about it on other end of the floor for quite a long time.
