Let's say 5 years to decide all in or all out. During that time better options might appear or CUSA might be surprisingly good in basketball.

Why in the WORLD would CUSA be interested in UMass for football only?

Far away, terrible at football, surely wouldn't earn us back more than 1.1 times whatever tv deal we might get (plus extra travel costs), and it ruins the platonic ideal number of teams we have in 9 for football scheduling.

That's like a lose-lose-lose-lose deal. Plus, they don't seem to want it.

Yes we have been terrible since go FBS, but still beat both App State and Georgia Southern at home and BYU on the road.
We've replaced the coaching staff and things are looking up.

Ok. A very sincere good luck and God bless. Nothing personal.

Did C-USA contacted Kennesaw State? What other teams did C-USA contacted beside EKU and JSU in the ASUN?

I don’t believe they offered a list. They just reported it was 30 something. You’ll just have to guess for yourself which ones that was. You could always email your ad and ask.

GA can handle more FBS schools. Only UGA is recruiting the state with much success.

UGA may be the only in-state school that’s recruiting Ga with much success but other P5’s rake in a large share of Georgia’s elite prospects.

If Kennesaw committed to FBS-level spending and had a stadium figured out that meets FBS requirements, I imagine CUSA would invite you without hesitation.

The fact that you don't have an invitation right now would suggest that you either can't or won't meet those two requirements.

KSU has a higher operating budget than JSU and SHSU. 8M more than JSU. KSU spends more money in the southeast than any other FCS program. Their stadium is under sized but they have plans on expanding it in the future. I think C-USA replaced schools in states they lost.

New Mexico State was added to give UPTEP a travel partner. As mention KSU has a higher operating budget than JSU and SHSU and a top 10 FBS school. However their stadium is small but SHSU stadium is under sized as well.

I am not sure that Sam Houston State is ready. Their athletic budget is 20 million a year. 3 million a year less than La Tech which currently has the lowest budget in CUSA. SHS students voted against a fee hike last year. The BearKats stadium is not FBs ready and I believe they avg about 8 k in attendance.

Jones. Why don’t you contact your AD and ask him these questions?
You’d be surprised what answers you’d get if you just ask.
Besides at least someone who matters would know your opinion.

Maybe thats why CUSA didn't call. They couldn't get a hold of him either.
