MMR is, I don’t know how the navy does it but the army gives everyone an MMR at basic, doesn’t matter if they are current.
They Vatican actually wrote a paper on the morality of the MMR for Catholics given the fact that it is produced from aborted cell lines from the 60s. They determined that the moral obligation to provide for the public health and health of school children overrode the objection to the vaccine. They have said the same thing about covid.
(Only one of the covid vaccines, JnJ, is produced with fetal cells).
The Vatican.... LOL. Do you support everything that's ever come from them?
The lawsuit specifically calls out that Catholics as one of the faiths represented.
Catholics are also generally take one of the strongest stances on anti abortion matters so the Vatican’s stance is interesting.
You do know that the Vatican is a major force behind the founding of the US, right? The freedom sought was freedom from them, not for them.
You do understand that some of the sailors are listing their Catholic faith as the reason for not getting the vaccine right? The Vatican and the Pope are relevant to mainstream Catholics regardless of where they live…

I'd argue that they're becoming less and less relevant. Conservative Catholics that I know are really disappointed w/ what the Catholic church has become - increasingly a political mouthpiece. I understand that YOU WANT it to be this way but most people don't.

Oh, but how misleading you are in your arguments, just like your god and savior Fauxci.
1. Only one of the Wuhan flu injections is produced with fetal cells. However, that ignores the fact that the other two under emergency use in this country used fetal cells extensively in the R&D. So, in that respect all 3 of the bs injections are tainted.
2. The Vatican did try to circumvent the fact that the fetal cells are "so old they're removed from morality" argument. However, that was a statement of opinion, not of the official church stance. Hence why other Catholic organizations such as the USCCB, as scared as they are of actually being strong in their beliefs, did allow that in lieu of any vaccination other protective precautions can be taken. Or the National Catholic Bioethics Center, which opposed the "vaccines." There have been many others who have objected as well, or at least stated that they support the right of religious exemption from a Catholic perspective.
3. Catholic teaching actually permits one to religiously object to any vaccines or "vaccines" that a person has moral conflict with. The Pope may have called taking the quacksine shots "an act of love" but that does not make it a requirement.

you have to have a bad Pope once in a while so you know what good Plook like. Jesus named Peter, a coward and a liar, to lead his Church on Earth, and he picked Judas as an Apostle, so why is anyone surprised some Popes or a few Bishops or some Priests are bad? It was good enough for Jesus, so who are we to question his wisdom for His Church? Sometimes, he provides us these types of leaders to get our attention. Running away from them is not the answer; like our country, we must work to fix it from within, and return to our own faith rather than cafeteria-style versions.

Don't assume I'm a supporter of the Catholic church with that comment. I think it's mostly a fraud but that's another discussion altogether.

lol---faith should have NEVER been the key issue. If the "my body---my choice" constitutional right to privacy the court used to make the landmark Roe vs Wade decision been adhered to by the Biden junta---this route would not be necessary.

Well, they did decide Galileo was right after all.

Even when they're woefully wrong wokesters?
no thanks. Happy to see the Catholic church in America flourishing, though.
