Tops playing awful. Tech not much better. WKU leads 31-21 at the half. It is amazing to me the amount of calls and favorable whistles Lofton gets for simply being obese.

I don't think either team is playing bad, they just can't make shots. Especially La Tech. 18% from the floor is woeful. Take away Hamilton and the Toppers are shooting pretty good. Only reason that the Bulldogs are within 10 is the free throw advantage, 11-2. I think La Tech will make a run and this game will go down to the end as usual between these 2 programs.

Robbed in Ruston. Absolute joke.

Tech players and coaches undress the officials for 40 minutes. React like children after every foul call. Stans gets T’d up for absolutely nothing, lose by 1. Welcome back to CUSA officiating. Would venture to say that’s the most foul calls on a topper team in 5 years. That being said, there’s a reason Tech doesn’t lose in that building often. Hopefully see them again in the tournament.

Now I remember why no one ever loses in Ruston. We were robbed by these incompetent refs.

WKU gets their fair share of home love so I guess it is fair.

That was an exciting finish.

I can see why WKU might be irritated with several more the non-calls, but that was ultimately determined by the intensity of Tech getting the better of the lack of composure by WKU in general and Stansbury in particular.

UAB is up 80-54 on UTSA with 4-and change to play.

Should have been at the line shooting 2 with 3 min that would have put us up 14. Instead no call, fast break layup for la tech, and they T up Stansbury for acting the same way your entire team was the whole game.

Louisiana Tech should've beat WKU like they did Marshall. The Toppers are 8-6 and a very average team. I would've been very disappointed losing at home to the Toppers. Now we have a lot of potential but just not very good right now. Just coming off of getting hammered by Kentucky. Middle of the pack CUSA team currently. If I was a Bulldog fan I would have some serious concerns about allowing WKU to lead most of the game and being fortunate to pull this one out.

Im certainly not pleased with our first half offense and that lapse in the second half.
Just glad we could pull it out.
