I think that question will be answered in the next game. Let's see how he changes the rotation and if Penny walks the walk.

Its a good question. I see a very tangled web Penny has created.
You start with 2 or 3 year players like Landers, Williams, Timberlake, Lester and honestly you have to even count DJ/Boogie cause even though they arent here anymore their feelings of feeling like they were lost last year will remain in the minds of players. These guys are looking to make the NBA or pro ball and point blank and averaging 8 pts wont get there. Boogie being the leading scorer for a top 20 team doesnt help either.
Then you toss two five stars who are projected as top 5 picks and probably are already millionaires on top of all that already lingering desire amongst the vets and ask the vets to step aside. You even have a third freshman sitting on a NBA drafyboard right now.
Then the final layer is the guys who play the "right way" (ie. Dont take crazy shots) happen to be your son, godson and starting center for like 4 years as a high school/AAU coach. They clearly are less talented so them getting minutes is automatically looked at with a side eye.
Gonna honestly say this cant be fixed at this point.
