Always a bowl game during this timeslot. Names change of the bowl but at least going back to 2013 a bowl game has played during this slot. We played in the Miami Beach Bowl vs. Taggert and USF back in 2015...

Interesting. I hadn't noticed. When you say timeslot, are you referring to the day of December 20th or the Monday on the week of Christmas? I just assumed most weekday games would be closer to the evening except on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day, which are typically all day even if those days fall on a weekday.

Tulsa is always sneaky good. They're better than their record some weeks, and worse others.

GG! Could have been closer if it wasn't for the style points.

5.5K in attendance? Do they still have some kind of COVID limitation on tickets?

Could've been closer? Style points? Granted, I didn't watch the game, but I'm looking at the stats and seeing 35 first downs for Tulsa and freaking 10 for ODU. I can't even remember the last time I saw something close to 35 to 10 in first downs in a game. I'm also seeing 529 yards to 247. I'm wondering how it wasn't a 30-point loss.

You didn't watch the game so I don't expect you to understand anything. I'm still proud for my team and what they did this year! We got work to do still. I'm not wishy washy fan. Good luck in your bowl game.

ODU fans supported the game pretty well especially considering the day and time. No one expected Tulsa to have more than a handful there and they didn't. The locals would likely have supported it better if the game was in the evening. ODU came on strong the 2nd half of the season and I would expect a good season next year. Not sure why fans of other schools like to poop on bowl attendance but it probably makes them feel good in some way. Screw em I say.

I wasn't crapping on their attendance. UNT played in the Myrtle Bowl last year and only had 5K too. I was asking if the COVID restrictions were still in place.

Missed field goal and ball punched out before the goal line for a touchback. Ten points right there. If you watched the game, not sure how you missed that.

I’m just happy Western got a lightweight like Appy State in our bowl game instead of Tulsa. (Wipes sweat from forehead)

Style points? That’s football. Still have no idea what you’re talking about.

That ball being punched out was a HUGE momentum killer. I hate that rule, but that's the game.

Ignoring whatever Retro meant by style points, the game could have certainly been closer. The punch out just prior to the goal line was a completely avoidable mistake.

Agreed. It was a tough one to stomach. But cant complain too much, I think most of us were happy with the way our season played out.

Exactly that's the game of FB. You lose the ball too many times you lose the game. That INT and fumble pretty much sealed our fate in a game we were not getting much push. Live to fight another season.
