Sun Belt Conference Championship Game news/updates
Commissioner Gill revealed today that the CCG will more than likely remain at higher seed locations rather than a neutral sight.

I think we can all agree that's good news

Neutral sight is interesting. I'd have assumed he would go for a site, since he is unable to assure everyone's vision is clear.

No offense but had he said they wanted to move it to a neutral site My excitement would’ve went to 0. Marshall hosted the MAC Championship several times and the CUSA game twice. Every win meant a torn down goal post and cut up into pieces for fans. Obviously you can’t do that at a neutral site, so I’m very happy with what he said. I was a freshman when they won in ‘14, and it was one of my greatest sports experiences.

Good, neutral sites are dumb.

It should always be on campus.

A neutral site works great if you're the SEC and the neutral site is in Atlanta. Other than that, home stadiums all the way.

Playing at the higher seed sounds like a great idea. Why dont we do this for basketball also.

I thought Marshall lost to WKU in 2014?

It also helps that SEC schools have such dedicated fanbases they would fly to Honolulu if that is where they held the SEC championship game.

Lost to Rice in Houston in ‘13 and then beat La Tech in Huntington the next year.
