Oh my GAWD, the amount of empty seats at this otherwise very entertaining HOME PLAYOFF GAME is just pathetic! Pathetic for FCS and completely unacceptable for FBS. Hell, our D2 playoff games had 10x the energy. Never thought I'd say this, but there are more UIW fans in the stands than SCAM Houston! That's without mentioning the stadium is still not even up to HS-level in Texas. #BushLeague

Sam Houston survives against UIW. Sam stopped UIW at the one-yard line with eight seconds left to hold on to a hard-fought 49-42 win. UIW may stink in the other sports but right now they have a very good football team that will compete for the top of the WAC.

Right. The actual invite is a formality, after both sides have agreed in principle, and in private. There was no agreement struck in private, so no public invite. To say Tarleton was at CUSA's becking call is stupid. Tarleton weighed its options as a transitioning school and chose "wait and see". To suggest anything else is just Tarleton hate. CUSA needs warm bodies, and fortunately, Tarleton is not negotiating from a position of desperation.
