Yes, much speculation of this is out there, mainly because the Sun Belt is not losing any current members.

I was told we were doing everything we can to get out of CUSA this year. Everyone at ODAF remembers the lame duck season in the CAA and doesn't want to live through that a second time.

Looks more like a rat to me. Unfortunately I have a better eye for rats than foxes.

I think it's cute

A cool marketing gimmick could be a decorative half oyster shell with an ODU logo for the first 5K fans. Get creative ODU.

I think our team wants more crowd appreciation, it has been brought up several times by Rahne, and I think we agree they deserve it.

So ... at some point we should get a chant going. The crowd should be electric.

What do you think about "1-and-Oh" or "Rah-ne" or something? I like 1&0, but the crowd might not know what it means and then not join in

Mostly I'm thinking we need to show we are an involved fanbase to help keep coaches and players. If they feel supported, they'll have higher standards for the offers they'll consider

This is our chance. They've worked hard and now we can show them what we are about. If we flub it, could go the other way.

Speaking of the rally fox, I made sure it made appearances in both of these.

Recruit Jaybird to start the wave over in 209 .... The one thing I miss most about ol Foreman Feild was fans like Major Monarch and Ted/Foreheads would pump up the sleepily crowd from the asphalt during games. I don't even see or hear the cheerleaders from my seats now and hardly see Big Blue roaming around. The band use to travel from section to section and play but they have stopped probably due to covid. I wish they would have kept the metal sign in the end zone that the students would hammer on that was great for student fan engagement.

Yes, keep it simple. Something everyone can get on board with and join in. If half the people don't understand it, it will only get a smattering of support.

I could barely hear the cheerleaders at Foreman Field. I miss having the guy cheerleaders. I thought it added to the volume and the stunts were fun to watch. I also miss the band coming around but I only remember them doing it at Foreman Field.
