48-40 EKU at half. Feel like we're playing solid D and we're getting nice drives to the rim. EKU just has been very good at protecting the basket. # 3 is a player; between his blocks and his 3 point shooting, he's hurting us.

Way too many turnovers with 11. Shooting 46% so that is fine but we had too many possessions without a shot.

Need a little more defense and smarter play on offense and we will be in the game in last 5 minutes.

Rough first half. JMU has all 5 guys handling the ball and that is part of the problem. None of them are good point guards that can control the game. Maybe Ihenacho will be that guy when he returns from injury.

The Dukes need to speed this game up by pressing the pressers. Play full court defense to take the bigs out of the game and get some love ball turnovers for easy buckets. EKU bigs are destroying JMU. Lots of blocks and even more shots altered at the rim. While JMU is winning the rebounding battle, they are losing the turnover battle. That feels backwards for this small ball team.

Speed it up on defense and get this game in triple digits. Half court sets favor the Colonels tremendously.

#3 is the man back on the press, now has 2 fouls, Coach B is gonna have us attacking him hard in the 2nd to try to get him into foul trouble. On D, we can't be helping off of #3 when he's standing in the corner, dude is lights out from that spot.

We are getting much higher percentage shots, hopefully as their legs tire in the 2nd they cool off. They are hitting some tough shots right now, D is pretty good and we are +5 on the boards.

Dukes can’t get that next stop when they get within one possession, next thing they know it’s back to 7-8 point deficit.

69-61 w/ 11:12 left. We've gotten within 2 twice, but then they build the lead back up. Still playing a bit sloppy on offense.

That was huge. JMU has a shot to be successful in the half court game now with one of the shot blockers out for the last 10 minutes. Huge. Also ballsy by the ref to foul him out on an iffy ball screen.

Is that a "turnover chain" that either one of the assistants or grad assistants who was talking to Amadi when he fouled out is wearing?

Definitely not "homers" like the Tribe announcing crew was Saturday that's for sure. Plus they know how to cut their mics off during game breaks/timeouts unlike the Weber State crew who were at least funny to listen to with their comments about their backup QB.
