Big recruiting weekend for ECU

Former UCF Linebacker Eriq Gilyard is visiting
Duke Commit Terry Moore is visiting for the second time

Then two four-star 2023 Defensive Lineman. Keith Sampson visiting for the second time and top 150 ranked recruit Rico Walker is also expected to be there.

A lot of other ECU verbal commits coming also, shame the weather looks like it'll be bad again

If it’s gonna be a loss, at least make it a BIG ONE. I’m hoping another conference blowout forces the new Temple AD’s hand to fire Carey on the spot….

Always give props to ECU’s fans and vibe.

ECU is just now starting to dig out of the hole caused by our Northern Illinois mistake. I hope Temple comes to their senses and gets rid of theirs.

Our last AD came from Northern Illinois. He single handily splintered the fan base by firing Ruffin McNeil who won a lot of games, but went 5-6 in his final year. Made a terrible hire in Scotty Montgomery which started one of the worst periods in ECU football history which consisted of 6 consecutive losing seasons to date. It's been a hard lesson, but football is finding it's feet again under Mike Houston. This game is very important getting us to 5 wins since Ruff's last season. Go AAC!!

We got a new AD from Texas. Will be interesting to see how he handles an Ath.Dept. without a lot of loose cash laying around.

I say we as a conference build a wall around DeKalb, Illinois so nothing from there can hurt the AAC ever again.

I'm hoping you guys get it turned around. My understanding is you have young talent moving up in the program. Any chance if a move is made you bring back Golden? Go AAC!!

Said this in another thread but Golden would be welcome but isn’t as much of a home run in the minds of all Temple fans. He knows the recruiting footprint and literally built the formula to win at Temple….but he hasn’t exactly won outside of the MAC.

No more Midwest wimps please

The drive for 5.

The Pirates gotta do it to do it though...yes Temple has been struggling.... yes we've been inconsistent on offense... We are not at the point of guaranteed wins till we get our focus back on track for both side of the ball for an entire game.

No sure things in Pirate Football what so ever. That's for sure. I've seen way to many Pirate games to ever be comfortable. Go AAC!!
