Players like Carter Evans, Melvin Swindle and Payton Price and Aaron Hamilton will be counted on and they are really good young players that are much more talented.

I am very excited to see if we get aggressive in the portal for a few more DL and LB's.

i think we need better DTs that can step up and stop the run before the LBs even get involved. we need a couple giant dudes to just fill space.

This. Or at least much more effective space eaters. We get blown off the line so easily on running plays. You ask a lot out of the back 7 when a runner gets a head of steam through a giant hole created by his OL. Disruptive defensive linemen can alter a runner’s momentum and make it easier for the LBs to clean up. We had that back in the 2016-2018 days. Haven’t had it since. Hopefully some of these young guys can be the solution next year, or if they aren’t ready, we hit the portal.

True but we need substantial adjustment to have any chance at winning 1 of 2 games. Perhaps Neatherly:

1) Go with 5 guys on line of scrimmage. If they beat us passing then so be it.
2) Move Taron or Jose to a LB spot for several plays. ( football is not calculus)
3) More blitz packages to stop the run

Can’t keep doing same thing!
