I would love to see them and agree they would upgrade the look of the stadium a lot. That said, the last I heard they do not have the money for them thanks to no season, COVID crowd downturns, now enrollment drop, etc. I don't remember the numbers but those banners (hurricane resistant etc.) are much more expensive than I thought they would be.

Enrollment drop? Hadn't heard that. And it seems like a little thing, but those banners would make a big difference in the look of the stadium. How expensive can they be? $20-$30k? Those are the little things that make a difference.

We have more pressing issues at the time than to invest in something that doesn’t return a dollar; lockerroom, elevators, bathrooms, etc.

Personally I would've screenprinted those banners yesterday and let the complainers hold their cups in their hands.

With beer sales likely to come, cupholders will hold more value than banners you cant see once entering stadium.

Just saw this morning that there is an RFP out for the addition of two elevators on the West side of the stadium. Award in Sept '22 and completion by August '23. Bid docs aren't available yet so I'll share more, when we get them...

That's interesting. I wonder if they can be added to the existing shafts.
I can't remember the configuration. If so, kudos to whoever did the costcutting/planning of that.

Yes, I believe the elevators are being added to the existing shafts. I will confirm, when the plans are available, but I do recall shafts being built for future use. Increased elevator capacity should help a lot with traffic flow to the restrooms and concessions.

Yes, I believe the elevators are being added to the existing shafts. I will confirm, when the plans are available, but I do recall shafts being built for future use. Increased elevator capacity should help a lot with traffic flow to the restrooms and concessions.

I doubt there is for fans. At least not for regular seats. The press box is a place of work. So it has to be accessible in one way or another. Too high to construct ramps.
The only thing where fans come into play would be special areas such as suites, lounges, etc. I would think.
Maybe what they want is dedicated elevators for the press box. Then having the others for "The Deck" and other lounge/meeting spaces.

Quick update on the additional elevators at the football stadium... the two new elevators will go within the existing elevator shafts next to the current elevators, which will essentially double capacity. Stops will be Field Level Concourse, Main Concourse, Future Office, Upper Concourse and Press.
