I think JMU in the Sunbelt could also have a good weeknight showing....

Yall have a good situation in that many of your fans live close by in Charlotte. GS has okay weekday attendance even in this mess of a situation, but most of our fans live 3.5 hours away, which is not ideal for mid week games.

I was thinking the same thing, but App shouldn’t have rushed for winning a conference game.
That’s a win over a #14 team. It’s understandable.
It is a little off-putting seeing fans rush the field after beating a team App has only lost to once in 9 matchups, but man if that did not look like a fun time being had by all out there on the field.

Coastal was a legit program last year, and this year as well. It was a good win regardless of the head to head record. Coastal is a very good team. App State is too :)

1. I'll never disappear
2. I've not had a negative thing to say about Coastal's football team other than you guys played a soft schedule. I also said it wasn't your fault since schedules are done so far in advance. You all took offense to any suggestion that your soft schedule played a role in your season statistics thus far.

ESPN has rules against broadcasting streamers.
I'd really hope that with the AAC being what it is by the time App would play JMU that could be put on a Saturday on a linear channel.

Brice never looked comfortable last week, partly due to the situational play calling on 3rd and longs.
I'm still very concerned about App's ability to put pressure on the QB, which will be even further exploited based upon CCU's offensive scheme.
App will need to score 40 tonight to win, that is a tall task.
I’m not sure either team will have to score 40. 30 though, most likely. I think the one thing that killed App last week is that the entire run game was taken off the table right from the get-go. ULL was getting long offensive plays and scoring quickly and App’s run game immediately became a non-factor. Coastal can score fast and get long plays too. But if App is able to establish and slow down the game with their rushing game and force CCU to plays App’s game, it could be a complete 180 from what happened last week.
Nailed your prediction. (30 to 27). App State could lose a shoot out.
Last week App State rushed for 78 yards - and tonight 228.

Watching the post game App coaches and players definitely felt embarrassed by how bad they played last week and didn't want to let themselves or the fans down this week. They tried extra hard in this game to get the W against Coastal to try to erase the bad game last week.
Now that I have seen both Louisiana and Coastal games - IF App State would have won last week, they would have lost tonight, and would have been out of the CCG for sure. They needed that extra push and effort to beat Coastal.
We still may not make it to the CCG, but I really think we had to lose to UL to beat CCU (odd I know).
I am not sure I feel any better about our chances if we get to play Louisiana again - but I certainly feel we won't be as bad as last week.

Did not follow the game thread here last night, but didn’t miss a minute of the game. What a FANTASTIC game and ELECTRIC crowd! One of the best games I’ve watched this year. Congrats to both teams. And way to show up ASU FANS!!!
Exhibit 3000 a lot were actively rooting for coastal to lose. The antics are out of control and chadwell has no intentions to stop these types of actions.
Mr Gallagher won’t be able to sue this time, chase brought receipts.

If you call 2 - 2 1/2 hrs away "close by" then OK.
