Seems right. For what it is worth, we are still terrified to play at Tulsa.

Fixed it.

Ohio is a state long known as a breeding ground for Juggalos and dirty wooks.

Not to get too off track but as someone who has been following the Grateful Dead > Phish > WSP around the country for the last 30 years I am an expert on wookery Ohio has consistently put out some of the dirtiest wooks on lot for generations.

Only in my wildest dreams would UC get a CFP invitation and either SMU or UH be assigned the Fiesta Bowl (I think that is the bowl assignment for the "G5" rep).

The problems with that scenario are twofold:
1) The P5 Cartel will NOT allow two AAC teams to get BOTH a NYD slot and a CFP slot in the same season.
2) If for some unknown reason it WAS permitted, the other issue is the ranking love given to Coastal Carolina for beating B12 powerhouse Kansas OOC this year and all of their Sunbelt opponents. CC is ranked # 15 right now while equally undefeated SMU sits at 23. The AAC needs either App State or Louisiana (in SunBelt Championship Game) to beat CC.

Not permitted. Clause in CFP contract says if a G5 makes the CFP, the NY6 slot becomes an at large. I looked it up somewhere a long time ago.

The easier way to think about it is that the semifinal bowls ARE NY6 bowls, just like those which may have at-large slots.

If the highest ranked non-contract-bowl-conference champion is highly enough ranked to get a semifinal slot, then that meets the requirement of the highest ranked champion of non-contract-bowl conferences getting a NY6 slot.
