Final 4 games: zero ranked teams.

Remember SHSU has only 10 games and a somewhat weak schedule. They would absolutely be behind an undefeated JMU, or Montana, or SDSU.

Not seeing a college game day candidate on that schedule.
Doesn’t matter who the opponent is. It matters if any other big P5 games going on that weekend. NDSU hosted college game day I believe vs unranked Del State and Incarnate Word.

I could see Montana getting a shot at CGD this year with their FBS win. They also have a good stadium that when full is impressive for FCS.

Yep, I'd like to see a home and home with them. I believe this is a game the players would appreciate.
Yep. JMU, NDSU, amd Montana appear to be a cut above everyone else in fan support. I was just there (also in 03’) 10 days ago, after driving the Salmon River Byway, spending a night in Missoula on the way up to Glacier Nat Park. Great looking 25+k stadium in a great setting. Helps that they are THE state flagship, granted in a huge state (4th largest) with only 1 million+ growing population (To put in context almost the same size as Germany which is about 85 million).

I actually think Weber’s Wasatch Mtns backdrop looks a little nicer than the WA-Griz’s backdrop (not sure which Mtns they are, as Missoula sits at the convergence of 5 Mtn ranges). And a game in Missoula in Sept would be the perfect month for anyone who hasn’t been to combine a trip to either Glacier or Jackson/Grand Tetons/Yellowstone/Cody, as its the only shoulder season month where all roads/passes/services are all still open, but without the peak summer crowds & prices.

Yep. Think they’re a notch below Montana, though. Would be another cool OOC. 2nd time I did Jackson/Grand Tetons/Yellowstone/Cody in Sept/Oct 2015, we flew into Bozeman..
