If montana goes undefeated they will be top 2 with the best FBS win this season, most likely the number 1. Up in the air for the second seed between an undefeated mvfc champ, undefeated JMU, and undefeated SHSU

We need SDSU, Montana, maybe NDSU and maybe SHSU to lose at some point if we wanna be seeded above them. SHSU will go undefeated so we need all three of the others to lose one to be sure we get to stay in Harrisonburg until Frisco. Hopefully our schedule will be enough to get us seeded over SHSU if we're both undefeated but I wouldn't bet on it.

Montana doesn’t play Weber State or Cal-Davis this year. If they can handle E. Washington on the road 2 weeks from now, they are on the fast train to a #1 seed.

Cal-Davis is getting Weber next week when their QB is still likely out. If they win that one, there isn’t another tough game until E. Washington at the end of the year.

Montana is more impressive with a win over Washington while Cal-Davis has a good win against Tulsa.

Well, they still have to beat Montana St in the Brawl of the Wild, who they haven’t beaten since 2015.

JMU just needs to win out and be a top 2 seed. #1 or #2 doesn’t really matter. Both are guaranteed homefield throughout. Sometimes the #1/4/5/8 side of the bracket is tougher than the #2/3/6/7 side of the bracket. It just varies from year to year.

wouldnt be surprised if Delaware drops a game before us even with their relatively weak schedule. Three unimpressive performances have not instilled confidence

We’ll see how little Danny Smith can do against State Penn this week. If the defense can keep the Nittany Lions from running there is a chance for Villanova to pull the upset.

Also, I think you're giving Villanova WAY too much credit. Still too early to see exactly how good they are, but a win at Wisconsin and against Auburn make me think this isn't really going to be close. Beating up on winless Lehigh and Bucknell plus a 1 TD win over Richmond doesn't really instill fear...

I agree with you Hart that Daniel Smith is going to be a challenge for us. He almost walked into our house and beat us in 2019 until MJ Hampton had something to say. They also had that performance without their star RB Justin Covington who I thought was the best back in the CAA that year up until his injury and he will also be back.

I want Nova, UD and UR to all have good records and top 20 rankings. W&M only has an FBS loss on their record so far. Elon, Albany and Towson are bad. They will be dragging the rest of the league down this season. NDSU managed to schedule both.

JMU just needs to take care of their business on the field. Their goals will be met if they do.

I could see Montana getting a shot at CGD this year with their FBS win. They also have a good stadium that when full is impressive for FCS.

Yep, I'd like to see a home and home with them. I believe this is a game the players would appreciate.

Oops I forgot that JMU still has Campbell as an OOC game late in the year. It is a forgettable game though.
