Not surprised that it seems like most of the responses fall along playing against programs with an east/west split furthering the idea that CUSA and SBC need to swap programs around based on geographic lines....but I doubt this happens.

I would bet most fans would include the reputable schools nearest to them. Everyone wants to be in the center of their conference or as close as possible to most members.

9 schools with us at the geographical center. That is what EVERY school wants! But most will never get.

9 is the perfect number, IMO. Allows easy scheduling, and in football 4 non-conference games. It does eliminate a football CCG though.

If we want 12...then add Arkansas State, UL-Lafayette, and UTSA.

Why are the results so slanted? You've got 22 responses from the West, and 80 from the east. That's not even close to being balanced.

Ga State for similarity (urban school) and distance probably. I think everyone would love to have Navy in conference and play them every year. I almost voted for them but I know it wouldn't work geographically with my ideal conference so I can guess that some UAB posters voted to have a broad geographic that included them.

Of course, the Texas and Louisiana schools are meanies for having the basketball tournament in Texas. It should only be at an eastern schools site, with only their fans attending. Otherwise it's not fair and we'll leave this conference to go play in a worse conference.
