RE: I'm thinking the problem is Kansas
Today I found a message floating
In the sea from you to me
You wrote that when you could see it
You cried with fear, the point was near
Was it you that said
How long, how long, how long to the point of no return?

Someone on this board that came from the SMU board said it was Baylor and TCU.

Whoever it was, it seems like SOP to have the vote decided before the actual vote. I would think that if they decide to include us, the vote will change to being unanimous.

Then why even consider us? I'm sure all the presidents are aware of our pending case.

Memphis compares with some of the teams from the B12 academically.
The reason none of the B12 schools were invited to join the Pac12 was academics.
The Pac12 is just a bit less stringent on academics than the B1G...not requiring AAU status.
I laugh now when I see them stressing academics...after that Lori Loughlin/USC $500,000 B.S. ...because it is utter crap.

Every school accepted is a R1 university.

All the other candidate schools were R2 - including us.

However, according to Rudd we will be up for R1 status in December with approval coming in January.

I'm confused... B12 already has three teams on probation, TCU and Oklahoma State, and Baylor.

Not confusing. He’s saying they don’t welcome the potential of yet another one. We check that box with an impending infractions case. Pick a number. They don’t want it. Especially when they are desperate to remain relevant.

It is confusing because they have had 3 teams on proby and another one looming. So saying they are overly concerned about proby is confusing. Is 5 the magic number? They are okay with 4 teams, but 5 is crossing the line?

Don’t ask me. I was lost at “Kansas”.

Kansas is playing number 17 coastal Carolina at coastal
Coastal knows how to schedule, Ike thinks Kansas thought coastal was a CUPCAKE, we'll see
Plus Jayhawks get to visit a beach with 85 degree water
Ike wonders if TIGERNATION could hire the Dude who does coastal's schedule
