Just had great TD catch. Has about 3 receptions already in 1st Q. Bittersweet but pulling for him for sure.

he could be a pro going to any school. Yes USC gives him a higher profile...but he could have done just as well here.
I'm not going to bash him for his decision...he did what he thought was right for him.
I will throw my support for the guys who choose to stay and represent my school.

Taj quit because he was not going to be the #1 receiver here and our coaches would not lie to him and tell him they we going to feature him above Calvin Austin— When he talked to the coaches at USC he came away with the impression he would be featured more there so he chose USC

Was Tahj recruited by big USC level schools before he came to Memphis...

His profile grew while he was here....Do you think he leaves if Jackson State makes it look like he is going to be the #1 receiver.

It's not just "non local" guys and a "Memphis" issue.
It's everywhere.

My hope would be Local guys came to Memphis because they wanted to play for Memphis...Not because that was the best option available at the time.
