They’d be out a lot of hardware 03-shhhh

But they’d have stacks of money they could pile into trophy shapes.

at this point i wouldn’t be shocked if this happened in like the next five minutes
espn and sec pooling all the big names together might just be a bad thing ?

The 12 ACC teams left would enjoy spending Clemson and Florida State's media income for the next 15 years, and that is after pocketing about $100 million from each to cover their exit fees.04-cheers

Go join whatever super conference hybrid that was formed with the B1G and Pac-12.

It should be obvious by now that the rest would be absorbed by the AAC! jk

Yep.

And add UNLV to the conference, just so trips to Vegas for conference tourneys could be actually justified. 04-rock

Given the secrecy with which ESPN, Texas, and OU orchestrated the SEC move, I’m quietly waiting for the bombshell announcement that Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State are not going to re-sign the B1G’s grant-of-rights when it expires after the 2023 season, followed by the news that those three are joining the ACC, along with ND as a full member. ESPN would gut Fox, give OSU, Michigan and Penn State further in-roads to recruiting in the South, and create a league that would easily be the best in men’s basketball and, while still inferior to the SEC, would be likely to garner at least 2 at large bids to the 12 team CFB each year.

I'll take the full trophy case if it's the big big trophies. kthnx. Hard to imagine most football fans exchanging titles for cash. I'm fine being last in revenue if it's also first in titles. You can go win on your IRS returns once a year, I'm happy to win a baker's dozen times in fall and winter instead.
