Knights beat the 'lanche 3-1 and now have a little two-game win streak going after they also beat the Stars to start heading in the right direction in this early season. The banged-up Golden Knights are missing quite a few players, including Alec Martinez, Max Pacioretty, Mark Stone, Alex Tuch and Zach Whitecloud, which helps account for their slow start so far.

Knights even it up at 4 with a SO win over Ducks.
Panthers now 8-0 on early season.

Frederik Andersen has been doing well at the goalie position. Raanta looked shaky in his first outing but it also looked like he needed some time to get back into the rhythm of playing.

Yeah, congrats. I saw that y'all are off to a great start this year. We will do the slow burn, hopefully momentum coming as we get our walking wouded injured back.

Any update on the Coyotes moving to Tempe?

Vegas starting to right the ship after a horrible start. The Golden Knights improved to 7-2-0 since Oct. 26 after opening the season 1-4-0. The seven wins and 14 points in that span are tied for first in the NHL with the Los Angeles Kings. Vegas D Alec Martinez took a skate blade to the face, left the game with 11:32 left in the first period in their win over Central Division leader Minnesota. He did not return. Vegas coach Pete DeBoer said it was an “ugly, ugly cut” and didn’t have an exact stitch count but said he heard it was “over 50 stitches.”

Ovi should be able to get to 767 this year.

Wonder what's up w/ Seattle? Would've thought they & Vegas would be primed to dominate the division.

Caps have 56 games left right now and he's sitting on 750.

I'd guess he'll be sitting around 780-785. Would give him an extra 30-35 or for the season a crazy 50-55 goals. He'd be about 110-115 short of the Gretzky mark of 894.

He has 2 more decent seasons after this I think he'll be able to do it.

Vegas beats the Rangers, now up to 19-11-0 and in second place with 38 pts in Pacific, right behind Aneheim which has 40. After their dreadful start, things looking up for the Knights. Also backup goalie Brossoit with the win.

Vegas now tied for first place in Pacific with Anaheim, at 40 pts each, espite losing to TB the other night. Knights now 20-12 overall!

Flames back to ATL?
