"If you stand and cheer on the East side, I'll yell at you from the West side to sit down. Plus, I would appreciate your phone number so I can call and text you to sit down. We must maintain an air of dignity and decorum throughout Huskie Stadium and standing is simply not proper from ladies and gentlemen. Now......sit down and shut the hell up!!!!"

Face it, that's just ploy to get more people to sit on your lap.

Yes, that is very true. But, alas, it never seems to work. There are only a couple on this board who are willing to sit on my lap, but those guys are hopeless and desperate. Maybe that says something about me.

I ended up buying two full season ticket plans for East side general admission. Price between 3-game and full game plan was negligible at $6. I'll give the rest of the tickets to friends that still live in Illinois.

I’ve dropped too many monocles in champagne flutes to count watching people stand and cheer.

Monocles? Champagne flutes? You must be watching Northwestern games! No, wait a minute..... They don't stand or cheer. But, they DO drink champagne there. The good stuff from France. Now, raise your pinkie finger, enjoy a sip, and adjust your monocle!
