RE: Biden's plan to build Electric Cars to add Millions of Jobs?
Remember, all automobile manufacturers in the US have pledged that in 2034 there will no longer be a combustion engine in any of their power trains.
So, why do politicians especially lawyer politicians pretend to know anything about job creation or how capitalism works? Especially Democrats who only focus on urban social programs. More or less social workers pretending to understand how job creation in the private sector works.

As stated above...The only jobs that Liberals create are government related.

And that's the only reason the car makers are entertaining and playing along with this folly. Be a BIG grab of something approaching 200 BILLION taxpayer dollars they can all split if they claim they're moving off of combustion engines in a decade.
Yea, good luck with that. I give that a chance of happening, primarily due to grid capacity and everything that goes into all of the construction of cars and trucks etc., between about .001% and absolute ZERO. We gonna run our tractors on batteries the size of Utah?
Aside from that, what's the point? Aren't we all dead from MUH CLIMATE CHAOS!!! in 5 or so years anyway?

RE: Biden's plan to build Electric Cars to add Millions of Jobs?
With any new technology, the hardest issues are typically scale and infrastructure. Getting an electric car to run is a marvelous technological achievement, no doubt. Getting millions of them out there running, and getting the infrastructure in place to support them, are the hard parts.
People keep likening this to the man on the moon. Well, we didn't have to get 300 million rockets to the moon, just one. And it didn't have to stop every 300 miles and fill up or recharge.
