Lawsuit Forces Pennsylvania To Take 21,000 Dead People Off Its Voter Rolls
Quote:The state of Pennsylvania has removed over 20,000 deceased voters from being able to vote following a settled lawsuit filed by The Public Interest Legal Foundation.
The suit, filed in November, alleged that at least 21,000 deceased individuals were still on voter rolls during the 2020 presidential election. Data compiled by the Watchdog group showed that more than 9,200 of the people registered had been dead for at least five years, in addition to nearly 1,990 that had been dead for 10 years. An estimated 197 voters were dead for at least twenty years.
“This marks an important victory for the integrity of elections in Pennsylvania,” PILF President and General Counsel J. Christian Adams said. “The Commonwealth’s failure to remove deceased registrants created a vast opportunity for voter fraud and abuse. It is important to not have dead voters active on the rolls for 5, 10, or even 20 years. This settlement fixes that.”
PILF’s suit against the Pennsylvania Department of State was filed a day prior to then-candidate Joe Biden taking the lead in the commonwealth. The settlement terms will force the state to cross-check the full-voter registration database with data sets received from the Electronic Registration Information Center.
Election officials in Pittsburgh admitted that duplicate ballots were mailed out to voters in May. The state’s top election official, Dave Voye, told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that Allegheny county officials miscalculated the proper number. Judicial Watch notably sued Pennsylvania for maintaining more than 800,000 inactive voter registrations — with the concentration in nearby Philadelphia counties Bucks, Chester, and Delaware.
“The idea that it took any time at all to settle this issue is a horrible commentary on the state election authorities involved,” David Schoen, one of the attorneys who represented former President Donald Trump in his second impeachment trial told The Federalist. “We should not have to depend on public interest organizations to spend their time and resources litigating this kind of issue; but it is fortunate that we have them to do it. A victory for election integrity is a victory for every voter and every candidate and for our Democracy.”
In addition, the Department of State is required to provide deceased names to every county commissioner, in order for officials to effectively cancel registrations. In three-month intervals, the Watchdog group is mandated to be given voter export data. The data will be provided to PILF by the Department of State on May 30, 2021, August 31, 2021, and November 30, 2021.

If they had voted (and voted Democratic) I’m pretty sure the Republicans would have been smart enough to include them in one of the 63 lawsuits they launched after the election. So either they didn’t actually vote or Republicans are dumb as hell.
In other news..... Kentucky came together to improve the system without impinging on large segments of the populations ability to vote.

Of course Republicans are stupid and I think lazy. They KNOW there's fraud and they know what type but like some of our population, I won't say who, all they do is COMPLAIN about it but do nothing. That's why most people and especially the Demoncrap know they're the stupid party and take advantage.

I think a leftist acquaintance of mine nailed it when he said, if conservatives lose an election, their lives go on. If we (leftists) lose an election, we don't have anything else, that's all we have. So leftists/democrats are way more passionate about elections than conservatives/republicans.

RE: Lawsuit Forces Pennsylvania To Take 21,000 Dead People Off Its Voter Rolls
Quote:If those in charge of the voting in this nation want to secure voting so that only those who are legally allowed to vote can vote then they are making some ridiculous decision.
The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled this week that voters who move out of the state do not have to be immediately removed from the voter rolls which could set up some dangerous situations, The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported.
The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled Friday that state election officials do not have to quickly take people off the voter rolls when they suspect they may have moved.
The 5-2 ruling means the Wisconsin Elections Commission will not force tens of thousands of people off the rolls near a major election, such as the 2022 contest for governor and U.S. Senate.
From the outset, the case has been fraught with politics. Conservatives who brought the lawsuit said they wanted to make sure the state’s voter lists are accurate, while Democrats and election officials warned a change in state policy could result in some voters being bumped off the rolls when they shouldn’t be.
The state law at the heart of the lawsuit over when to take voters off the rolls does not apply to the Elections Commission, the majority concluded.
“There is no credible argument that it does,” conservative Justice Brian Hagedorn said in the majority opinion. He was joined by liberal Justices Rebecca Dallet, Jill Karofsky and Ann Walsh Bradley.
The plaintiff’s “primary argument in this case is that the Commission is a ‘board of election commissioners’ under (state law). This argument disregards nearly every foundational principle of statutory interpretation,” he said.
Sounds like Hagedorn is taking a page from the “conservative” playbook of United States Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts who has been a consistent disappointment to conservatives.
The Sentinel reported that Justice Hagedorn has broken from conservatives on several occasions to side with liberals and, like Chief Justice Roberts, has earned the scorn of Republicans.
Justice Hagedorn in a series of decisions after the 2020 presidential election upholding Joe Biden’s razor thin victory over Donald Trump and he even joined the liberals in keep the Green Party’s presidential candidate off of the ticket, which could have meant more votes for Biden as Green Party voters looked to vote for a candidate that most closely aligned with their ideals.
The dissenting Justices Rebecca Bradley and Annette Ziegler said that the court’s decision could affect the integrity of the voter rolls.
“The majority’s decision leaves the administration of Wisconsin’s election law in flux, at least with respect to ensuring the accuracy of the voter rolls,” Justice Rebecca Bradley said in the dissent.
The Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty filed the case argued that voters who move should immediately be taken off the voter rolls.
“WILL remains committed to the rule of law and to a reasonable set of election rules that acknowledges that the right to vote involves both convenience and assurances of accuracy and integrity,” Rick Esenberg, the president of the group said.
The ruling is important as Wisconsin has become a contested state that Republicans believe they can win, as Biden was awarded the state by a margin of around 21,000 votes in the 2020 presidential election.
Keeping voters who have moved out of the state on the voter rolls does not appear to be a wise idea if one wants to promote election security.
But those who argued to not remove the voters contend that removing the voters from the voter rolls would cause election insecurity.
“This decision is a clear win for Wisconsin voters,” Democratic Attorney General Josh Kaul said of the decision.

if they 'voted' during this past election cycle, those votes should be thrown out from the final count. Period.

I think part of the forensic audit should involve looking back at the voting records of that list of 21,000 dead to see if any of them voted after they passed.

You mean how many times they voted after they passed?
