What did Penny do? Got 2 of the best guys in the portal to transfer here. 2 of our best players this year.
I hate losing guys that we have watched through ups and downs the past 2 years - just when they are starting to get it.

To go play on a team that doesn't turn it over 16 times per game. It's a free transfer and he is a top 10 recruit on a team that doesn't look good so why not.

No, Calkins did not say that at all.
He said there are 6 key players you want back.
He never said all 6 were "looking to transfer".
Most of the radio heads think Boogie (done), Baugh, and maybe 1 other are the transfer prospects.

Maybe I'm dreaming all the pot-stirrers that talked about how terrible it was that Penny lost a local kid and how the team absolutely needed him. Could be wrong, because all the current pot stirrers say it didn't happen.

Heard today that Penny expedited meeting with the players. Originally he said Thursday. He moved it up. This explains the announcements today. Hopefully, this is the end of it. Next will be the announcement that a couple are going to test the NBA waters.

Entirely possible that putting your name is the portal was not totally the player's idea...interesting.
