That said K-State is the one he wanted, but the wyoming guy got that. Missouri also spoke withbhis agent, but they didnt offer him. Kansas is probaby too much of a rebuild at this point in time. He knows if he wins 8-9 games at Tulane this coming year or next he he could be in line for somthing like Iowa state if campbell leaves or kstate if there is a move there. Possible a texas school like ttu, tcu, or baylor.

Coach from NDSU got K-State.

Think it’s a step down to go from Tulane to Kansas but it’s probably easy money. Fritz is 60 years old and never had a P5 job. Probably his only opportunity to jump, he’s been solid but it’s hard to see him contending for an AAC title.

Fritz is no better than 3rd option on every list that I have seen, interesting to see what he does. He's a good fit at Tulane

You are correct. NDSU's Bohl went to Wyoming. NDSU's Klieman went to K-STate. My point remains irregardless of who took the K-state job.

Kansas is a crummy job and unless Fritz REALLY needs the money he would be crazy to take it.

Yes. However KU will hire their new AD first and then the new AD will search for and then hire the new football coach. The football interim tag could run through next season if the situation becomes a long drawn out process. Plan on using your current coaching staff for at least one more season. 04-jawdrop 03-shhhh 03-shhhh 03-shhhh 01-donnankungfu Rimshot 02-13-banana 02-13-banana 02-13-banana 03-drunk COGS COGS COGS 04-cheers

Exactly he has experience watching a crummy program so he knows one when he sees one.
