RE: MBB - CUSA tournament
And UVA loses by 4. Lose to a 16 seed, win the national championship, lose to a 13 seed. Peterson (who looked very good) and USC advance, Murphy and UVA bow out in the first round.

Murphy had a good game, however, both offensively and defensively. The loss wasn't on him.

Nope. And CBB/NBA guys on Twitter were advocating for him to be the go-to guy for UVA in the last 5-10 minutes. UVA was kind of screwed by circumstances. COVID issues, barely any practice time, and got handed a dangerous first round team.

It was wierd. After a hot shooting first half, he hardly touched the ball on offense the entire second half...until he drained the 3 that pulled UVA within 2 with 7 seconds to go.

RE: MBB - CUSA tournament
If anybody wants to see what a coach with a unique style brings, turn on the Texas-Abilene Christian game. ACU might be the most active team I've ever seen in college basketball. Ridiculous effort. Five guys running around nonstop for 30 seconds. Up 1 on Texas and have forced 17 turnovers already.
FYI Abilene Christian was a *bad* D2 team 10 or so years ago. Like legit bottom of D2 conference bad. Then they hired Joe Golding, stuck with him, and they've won 20+ games in three straight years. It's possible to make big strides, even for a tiny, insignificant school. Just have to find the right guy.
