The Dems cannot be allowed to gaslight and obfuscate. Those responsible for the suffering and damage they caused must be held accountable to grant justice and to help prevent future catastrophe policies.
Suffering and damage...from recommending/taking a vaccine that improved outcomes and saved lives?
Sure, Jan.
Did they oversell it, of course...but to what suffering and damage?
Curious your take on trump/rfkjr creating an environment muddying the waters on decades of tried and true practices protecting kids and the country.
mental anguish over making people put their ability to earn a paycheck above their physical health.
psychological effects of forcing families to know their loved ones were dying alone for no good reason.
an entire generation of kids that fell behind academically.
brainwashing virtually the entirety of the left into cutting ties with friends and family that dared questions "settled science"
just wait about 15 years and see what happens to an entire generation of kids that were forced to take an experimental vaccine. that was a mighty big risk for relatively little return.
Occasionally, it is necessary to remind those attempting to gaslight us about the disastrous CV-19 policies (including vaccine de facto mandates) and to shift blame from responsible parties.
The "experts" and authorities who were overwhelmingly Dems:
1. Originally advised against masks but later reversed.
2. Dismissed the Wahun lab origin possibility and labeled people racist for holding out the possibility.
3. Ignored evidence masks do not work in a community setting and promoted useless and harmful cloth masks (if people thought it would materially help).
4. Did not sufficiently promote the best masks (N95’s)and how to properly wear and dispose of masks.
5. supported taping playgrounds, removing BB goals, prohibiting going to beach, etc
6. Released into the wild college students (a group not at risk for serious illness or death) where they would be free to infect family members - including the elderly.
7. Advocated banning outdoor group activities unless it was for a favored cause (eg BLM protests and riots). People pointing out the inconsistency (ie, either CV-19 is an existential threat to all population or all outside gatherings should have been allowed) were tarred racist.
8. Considered in person liquor stores essential but not churches.
9. Ignored the science of natural immunity.
10. Told people the virus spreads on surfaces
11. Exaggerated the CV-19 threat to healthy people under the age of 65 or so. A study “found that more than one-third of Americans overestimate by as much as a factor of ten the probability a person with COVID-19 will require hospitalization”.
https://catalyst.independent.org/2021/03...alization/ The groups at greatest risk was known by at least the Summer of 2020.
12. Exaggerated the CV-19 threat of death. A study found: "the overall 30-day case fatality rate was just 0.31 percent". When including cases not detected, the estimated fatality rate was 0.16 percent. "The group in most danger was the extremely old. hose aged 85 and above had a CFR of 7.88 percent, with nursing home residents even higher at 7.92 percent." Because this group makes up about 30% of deaths, the risk to the remaining population was even lower than 0.31 percent.

13. Stated the vaccines would prevent around 95% of infections and stop most transmissions. People disagreeing were called grand ma killers.
14. Did not permit hospital and nursing home visits. It meant grand ma may have died alone with all that implies.
15. Downplayed therapeutics treatments
16. Forced compliance with nonsensical policies like masking to a table and then unmasking to eat.
17. Required business lockdowns which resulted in enormous federal government debt that will limit government services in the future as debt payments crowd out other expenditures , inflation lessening people's real standard of living, and lost opportunity for employee advancement.
18. Closed in person public schools while private schools were open. The ramifications include inter generational permanent learning loss - particularly for poor kids without parents able to afford better options.
19. Insisted on social distancing without scientific evidence of effectiveness.
https://www.wsj.com/articles/anthony-fau...50?mod=mhp At great expense, the inane policy forced modifications by firms, schools, governments, etc and needlessly inconvenienced people (eg, waiting in the rain for one’s turn into the grocery store).
20. Exaggerated the prevalence and impact of "Long Covid".
21. Endorsed requiring citizens to "show their papers" like people living in authoritative counties like China.
22. Conjured an enemy's list for parents at school board meetings and reported them to the FBI.
23. Forced masking on airlines without any evidence of efficacy (major airlines use very frequent recirculated air). When the ban was lifted by a judge, there was no notable increase in CV-19 transmission.
24. Forced healthy children two years and older at virtually no risk to wear masks which harmed speech development and risked health (kids tend to get everything dirty - including masks)
25. Refusal to vigorously promote improving comorbidities (eg, controllable factors like obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc) strongly correlated with CV-19 deaths and serious illness.
26. Forced traveling American citizens to submit “contact” reports to the authorities long after the usefulness of contact tracing was past.
27. Possibly delayed vaccine until after 2020 election.
28. Cancelled people insisting on following the science and on considering cost/benefit.
29. Counted people dying of CV-19 when the primary cause was something else. The effect was artificially increasing CV-19 deaths.
31. Cancelled and delayed in person preventive care visits (eg, monitoring blood pressure and blood sugar for diabetes) and medical procedures (e.g., TAVR). The cancellations and delays accelerated medical condition deteriorations - especially among the elderly - resulting in permanently poorer health and increased risk of dying.
32. Released criminals who later committed further crimes. For example, as of May 2026 half the inmates released by former NC Gov. Roy Cooper during Covid have been rearrested
33. Delayed warning about myocarditis risks (particularly among young men) until late June 2021 despite credible alerts (eg, from Israel) as early as February 2021. It means healthy young people at little risk of death or serious illness were tacitly forced to take a drug with known but suppressed serious risk.
34. Refused to allow at least some retired medical personnel (e.g., doctors, nurses, NP's and PA's) to volunteer for CV-19 care duties.
35. Failed to adequately support polices that might actually help mitigate CV-19 and other respiratory viruses like building ventilation.
Hold those accountable for their misdeeds. Never again.
