I would think fans allowed, but no more than 25%. Hopefully things are more old normal for the 2022 season.

Eff 25%. If the vaccine is readily available by August, 100% open. Once everyone has access to a vaccine it's no one else's responsibility to keep others "safe".

I agree. I'm just making a prediction

You're probably right

I think you'll see 50% in Michigan this fall, it won't be until 2022 that you see full everything, because that's election year in Michigan. I do believe you'll see several other states go full open however this summer.

I suppose even with a 50% cap on stadium capacity, that'd be typical maximum MAC attendance anyhow.

Assuming anyone who wants a vaccine gets it by early summer, hope we see here what happened in Israel (COVID rapidly decimated once a level of full vaccination achieved > 50%). Otherwise, figure restrictions will be regional again just like last Fall.

Nacho, only disagreement I have with your selections is the Ball St. game. I see us squeaking by Testicle Tech.

RE: 2021 Schedule Released
In addition to Nacho's picks, we need to win home games vs. San Jose State and Ball State, and road game at NIU.

Winning at Emu is seemingly never easy for us either.

I also see wins against Buffalo, Ball State, and NIU (I think this is the year). 8-9 wins depending on the San Jose State game.

I think teams are going to have some major issues stopping Eleby and our RBs.

The issue, as I see it, is not with the offense. Once again, will we be able to stop anyone?

Defense was middle of the pack in the MAC last season, I think they will be improved this year.

RE: 2021 Schedule Released
Scored 42 in the L vs Eastern, & 27 in the L vs Ball. The Defense HAS to improve.

Also, not sure why the offense isn't more consistent. Yeah, they're putting up lot of Touchdowns, but it seems when they're not scoring, they're going 3 & out. (the NIU,EMU, & BSU games in particular) Have to start controlling the ball even on drives we don't find the endzone.

May - July & most of August. That's it!!

The offense is inconsistent because of the RPO's. Super simple in theory but hard to execute consistently. If you don't execute on first or second down, then you are in a 3rd and long situation. The odds of converting on 3rd and Long are atrocious.

Not sure why I'm so ready for the season all of a sudden. This could be a rough year.

RE: 2021 Schedule Released
Should be the best D line we've had in a while with Fayad, Carter, Holley, etc and our LBs should be position of strength as well. Only area of concern on D is CB.

Offense is loaded at skill positions and interior line should be a force. Question mark at the OTs.

X-factor will once again be Lester. Not sure if he can get over the hump of mediocrity.

I expect to be in the stands at full capacity for football season.

RE: 2021 Schedule Released
I think there's a lot of talent in the starting spots across the board, the problem could be depth. A few injuries could derail this season fast. Remember last year, the injuries at DL and CB? They were scrambling for bodies to fill out the depth chart. Attrition has really taken a toll on this team.

But yeah, it all lies with Lester. Will he ever move past mediocrity? Can he win big games? How many more late season games will he crap away with a championship berth on the line?

McCabe still isn’t on campus since early last fall. I don’t know the extent of his injury but I’ve heard it’s concussion related.

Buffalo game should be a win now.

Losing your head coach in May is tough, and Buffalo lost some really good players.

9-4 for us.

I could see Buffalo being that early MAC-portion 'feel-good' win we've gotten used to under TL.
