the word Jeep is offensive to me. Chrysler needs to get rid of the name "Jeep"

I drove a CJ5 from NC to Montana iin my youth through Texas. I would piss on one of these new imposters if it was on fire.

45k cause it was prolly broke down for twenty years. Esp if it had that small v8. A 304 or something. I had the straight 6 258, bullet proof. I adjusted the carbs in Colorado

Men were men

Been there, done that.

Heading to college, car was running like sh!t. Fortunately I had my tools and timing light. Points gap slipped (by my mistake... didn't tighten my points sufficiently a couple days prior) from my tune up from a few days prior. I had a 63 Plymouth Savoy 2dr Coupe with a Slant 6. This car was a creampuff, literally owned for 18 yrs by a retired school teacher. It had 40K original miles on it. Wish I never sold it.

I'm done with doing oil changes, starters, etc... Any more. I still do air filters, cabin air filters and batteries.

Hey now, I drive one of the "newer" Jeeps and I have to say, it's a legit Jeep. Just to prove it, my check engine light came on today when I pulled it into the garage to take the top off.

From a legacy of the toughest vehicle on or off the road, they really have wussified their product.

Random, useless trivia but South Webster (Ohio)High School’s mascot are The Jeep. In this case it’s not derived from the vehicle but from a character from Popeye.
