I like it a lot, especially in late summer.

Same. Our brand color is dark blue. The Columbia blue is an accent. They seem rather dull too. I thought UA would do better with the designs.

RE: 2021 Football Season
I loved the Columbia Blue uni's. My group was 50/50 mixed.

What a nice job ODAF did with the spring game. Prefect day, to watch some football. I forgot how nice SB Ballard is to catch a game, of course sitting in the high dollar seats helps the view. Went in thinking DJ Mack was going to blow away everyone. But man I was extremely impressed with the freshman #7 Reese Poffenbarger at QB. To me he was on point every play. Thought #11 Wolff also looked good at QB and maybe took more snaps than anyone. #14 Stone at 6-4, is one big dude had a solid showing.

So glad to see #12 La La, getting it going. #1 Jordan Bly is the smallest player, but I look for him to be a big playmaker.

The new unis are dope! That trailer was dope too!!! Solid showing at the Spring Game! I think RR is all business. He's not very talkative on camera, but man he was out there coaching. He seems to be really passionate about the offensive side of the ball. That's what killed us in 2019, we can't couldn't score enough points. I can't wait to see an actual game. It felt good to be at Kornbal again!

I mean, they're basically just a palette swap of our Navy/White/Black uniforms. So if these ones are bland our whole uni set is. Not that I entirely disagree, but I love having the Hudson Blue unis and I think they're gonna look great.

Was limited to mostly family and some higher donors. I got in with a higher end donor and ODAF was working it to.

RE: 2021 Football Season
Had a good time at the spring game today. QBs and secondary offered the biggest surprises IMO.

Mack looked at times like a star and others like a guy who hasn’t played in years. Which, in his defense, it has been a while. Wolfe and Stone both looked like capable QBs who sometimes held onto the ball too long or were off target and other times looked like starting QBs. But Poff looked like a great fit for what our OLine is right now. His timing, his throws, and his selection was all point. He’s not the runner that the others might be but man did he look efficient throwing. No wasted time or motion.

Secondary seemed like a strong unit considering all our transfers there. That was surprising.

RBs look really good. Elijah and Blake should make a great 1-2 punch.

The freshman WR, Paige, made one play that showed why he belonged on this level. Excited about what he can do with the ball in his hands.

As for tight ends, we did have a couple throws to them. They aren’t as included as I expected but they are actually apart of the offense.

It’s a shame Moser got hurt. Hope it’s nothing serious.

I showed my student ID and they let me in. It was open for up to 1000 people. Coaches and players families, the band, the cheering squad and students.

Except these pants have piping/stripes... the slate blue and white pants are solid colors unless they ordered new ones.

RE: 2021 Football Season
I will echo the comments of several other posters on Poffenbarger. Although Mack appears to have the lead at QB, I think Rahne will have a hard time keeping Poff off the field. He has a rocket arm (throws the long out on a rope!) and is accurate. He threw a great bomb for a TD. I'm not sure who caught it, but he showed great speed to pull away for the score. The O-line seemed to do a good job protecting our QBs, and LaLa Davis had a strong showing. Our wide receivers will have to step it up a notch. There were way to many dropped passes. The defense got off to a slow start, letting Mack lead a quick TD drive of 65 or 70 yards. (I don't remember where they started.) After that, they settled down and the two sides competed pretty evenly. The Dee did get a nice interception in the back corner of the end zone, but I could not make out who got it.

It was great to see the Monarchs on the field, and I suspect Coach Rahne will be pleased with today's efforts and performance while identifying some areas that clearly need some work.

Cheers, all.

I was by the locker room entrance, no weight on the leg, came back out in what looked like a usual aircast. Didn't ask about it postgame because there wouldn't have been a comment anyways.

I have more on Poff coming, his sister Saylor is a UConn basketball commit

Is Poffenbarger still walk-on status?

To my knowledge, yes.

Do not believe I saw Dominique Anthony at QB today unless it was the three minutes I went to the bathroom (unlikely)

Invited by ODAF, or work for ODAF? Invites are hard to come by.
