Its an algorithm doing the real-time ranking, not Ken. Algorithm projected us to easily beat ECU, we underperformed vs that projection.

Ranking is also impacted by the performance of teams ranked around us. A few of them got wins vs top 50-75 teams yesterday

There are exceptions, but the majority of players at this level began learning fundamentals and developing skills at a young age. That’s how they got to this level. Most players Cisse goes up against are honing those skills. Cisse is still trying to learn the fundamentals. Four years is nothing. BB at this level really is that hard.

Absolutely and it’s that much harder for a very tall kid. Takes time to get coordinated.

I’ll play. In seven seasons since Joe Jackson, Pastner’s college coaching record is 111-102 (54-65), including 37-29 (18-18) at Memphis. His highlight is one NIT appearance with a team he inherited. He has been a .500 coach and become a perennial hot seat contender in five years at Georgia Tech. Are we taking about THAT Josh Pastner?

Yes, he followed Jim Larrañaga of Miami who has gone 79-67 (36-51) since. Meanwhile, Mike Krzyzewski hasn’t won it in 20 yrs. Despite 3 nat’l championships, 4 final fours, 7 elite 8s and 14 sweet 16s. My guess is the ACC isn’t overly serious about it.

Wichita has taken over 2nd place by beating the bottom half of the conference. The top half is coming. Although, most of their tough games remaining will be at Wichita.

Guidance was players were good for 3 months. Later studies are saying more like 5 months. However, since our initial positives were in July, we're out of luck either way.

I was saying wichita state before anyone else. We are clearly 3rd team at the bottom of the Wichita state, smu, Memphis pile now.

Bad timing for the bug to hit. We don’t really have a path to an at large bid now imo. Down to Wichita state and smu.

If we can play with the momentum we had before the shutdown, maybe we have a chance to run the table in the conference tournament.
