True. It's a tried and true democrat method of getting knee jerk legislation passed.

A crippled economy doesn't hurt the bourgeoisie, just the lower and middle classes. Their interests and kickbacks will be just fine. If the economy tanks then they can just do what they'll do about every other one of Sniff's failures and blame Trump. The media jock sniffers will carry the message and act as Sniff's de facto spokesmen to hammer the message home that it was all "orange man bad's fault."
Bottom line: a bad economy under Trump would have meant every Democrat politician and media actor pointing fingers and blaming Trump. Failure was not an option. A bad economy under Sniff will mean that every Democrat and media actor will point fingers at Trump. A crippled economy also means more people willing to accept any crumbs and handouts thrown down by Sniff's administration.

I think you can count pretty clearly on two things:
1) Democrats will screw it up, and
2) MSM will tell us what a wonderful job they are doing.

Look how fast the Alabama department of Public health says the narratives changes when there is a switch in administrations. Over a span of 7 days. Jan 14 compared to Jan 21. At this rate, covid will be over before February.

RE: The Dems Covid dilema
It's quite obvious to me that option A is the way they are going. They don't need the covid crisis anymore. The purpose of exploiting the China virus was to get mail in ballots into the system and to get people locked down and their businesses destroyed, schools shut down and people masked up, unable to meet with friends, co-workers, and family.
That job is done. The next phase is the media bestowing upon Biden the mantle that he solved the covid crisis (with the convenient help of the CDC and WHO changing how PCR testing is done - fewer cycles, fewer cases). Joe will soon be hailed as the hero, even though he really did nothing. The media has used that same playbook many times, we've seen it.
Then, dem governors will begin opening their states back up and the media will be writing glowing stories about how the democrats saved America when Trump couldn't do it. Of course, the truth is 180 degrees from that - the dems CAUSED all the problems regarding covid-19.
Of course, China Joe's policies will cause the newly recharged economy to falter and crash, which is fully in line with the globalist's agenda. They NEED that to happen for the great reset. ("You'll own nothing and like it!")

Covid will diminish to nothing. Sloe Biden* will be praised as the greatest president of all time. Meanwhile the flu will come roaring back with a vengeance. Thousands will die and Trump will be blamed 5 times an hour every hour on the MSM for spending all our money on a COVID-19 vaccine and ignoring the flu.

WHO changed how they are calculating an Active Covid case now.
Many fewer will qualify as having active Covid.
They made this change the day after Biden was inaugurated.
Timing is a total coincidence.
