The Dems Covid dilema - MemTigers1998 - 01-22-2021 08:23 AM Now that they used the China virus to install Biden*, the Dems have a decision to make. Do they- (a) move on from the Covid hysteria and proclaim Biden* to be the savior and hero or (b) keep Covid hysteria around as an excuse when the Biden* policies cripple the economy Option A means they dont have Covid as an excuse when "Build Back Better" is a complete dud. Option B means senile Plugs failed to deliver on his self proclaimed top priority. They probably choose option C which is blame Trump although this all on Sloe's watch now. RE: The Dems Covid dilema - SuperFlyBCat - 01-22-2021 08:39 AM They are discussing all of this internally, thus no voting on another stimulus BJ. RE: The Dems Covid dilema - AdoptedMonarch - 01-22-2021 08:42 AM I don't see how the Democrats get hurt by this. The media will happily portray ANY outcome as an unmitigated success for the new administration. Any contradicting facts/arguments just aren't worthy of comment or attention. (By way of example, the near total amnesia regarding VP Harris's bail program for violent blm/antifa rioters.) Bottom line, the standards applied are now just (D)ifferent. Or, to quote Orwell, "Some animals are more equal than others." RE: The Dems Covid dilema - 200yrs2late - 01-22-2021 09:11 AM Obviously B. It's the perfect excuse for a "managed decline" in the economy as jobs are lost and govt stimulus handouts become the path to a 'guaranteed income'. The dems will make excuses, Biden will say the US was in a much worse condition economically than he could ever have imagined and beg to be given time. Media will cover for all of 2021 and right up until about July of 2022 when you will hear quiet rumblings about removing Biden because he is too old, too white, and 'moderate' to do what it necessary. By October the MSM will be openly calling for Biden to step down or for Pelosi to invoke the 25th amendment to install Harris. If the dems lose majorities in the 2022 mid-terms, they will throw Biden out prior to the end of his term. shortly after passing a massive amnesty bill and student debt forgiveness. If they maintain a majority, Biden will be gone by March of 2023. Harris will be anointed as the new face of the democrat party and appoint Michelle Obama as VP. They win easily in 2024 and by the end of 2025 the Dow sits about 10000, inflation around 15%, interest rates above 20%, and unemployment will be about 25% even though the 'official rate' will be under 5% due to the guaranteed basic income. RE: The Dems Covid dilema - ECUGrad07 - 01-22-2021 09:17 AM Yeah, I'm assuming they will consult with Xi and he'll let them know what direction we need to go. Yeah, but we'll have a dude that thinks he is a woman as health secretary, guys can play on girls teams, and pedophiles can finally be free of public scorn for using the restroom w/ little kids. Either way, Sniff gets credit for anything positive and Trump gets the blame for anything negative based on the extended Democratic mouthpiece, the media. It's only Day 3 of the Pedo in office and already New York, Shitcago, and The Democratic People's Republic of Michigan are harping about reopening things. Weasel Farse-y is stating that the viral outbreak has plateaued, CNN has removed their "Wuhan Bat Death Count" meter off their screens, Sniff is already taking his mask off wherever he goes, etc. The media and the Dems overhyped this virus to the point that they can't just come right out and say "lol, it was all bullsh!t anyway" so they're winding things down as quickly as they can without being too obvious to their sheep. The bigger catch is that the government doesn't like giving up control easily, so there will be that power struggle. It is fascinating how the Dems used the Chinese made virus to get Trump out of office only to instill a guy in bed w/ the very country who created it. Dems and many Republicans don't care who bought and sold Pedo Joe because they, too, are bought and sold by China. They just wanted Trump gone because he rocked the boat a little too much for their liking by going after the swamp creatures. They are gonna frick you. Figure out which scenario fricks you the worst and that's your answer. RE: The Dems Covid dilema - Bronco'14 - 01-22-2021 01:02 PM I think A, it just won't happen overnight. But they won't proclaim him the savior b/c Trump was so bad it can't be saved. They won't keep COVID going b/c they don't have to. A crippled economy is a crippled economy, virus or no virus. RE: The Dems Covid dilema - UofMstateU - 01-22-2021 01:12 PM This was Biden's* covid plan that he touted while signing EO's: Biden promised to administer 100 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in the first 100 days of his presidency, something Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the CDC, reiterated Thursday on NBC News' "Today." “We said 100 million doses in the first 100 days, and we’re going to stick to that plan,” she said. When a journalist in the room asked what was different about his plan from Trump's, considering the Trump administration was already vaccinating at a rate of 1million people per day ( a rate that was accelerating and likely would see greater than 100million vaxes in 100 days), Biden proclaimed "Aw come on man!" (Which is a default statement Biden* says when he gets a response he doesnt like or expect. Like when he shoved his fingers up Tara Reids Vajayjay and was rebuffed.) When it was clear the media might be asking some "tough to defend" softball questions, they shoved the media out of the room. Thats right, Biden's* plan is to continue the rate of what Trump was already doing. After hiding in the basement for a year, Biden* has no better plan of his own.
