RE: Georgia Election 2021
If Trump had accepted defeat gracefully without all the theatrics of the lawsuits and conspiracy theories I think the republicans would have won one of these, possibly both. I prefer one house of Congress to be opposite the president. Then they have to come together for the important stuff but there is a barrier for the frivolous.

He kept the “never trump” political base fully engaged with his attack on the federal election, and his support mentally turned these two races into an extension of the presidential race. Without Trumps election attacks the democrats wouldn’t have had quite the turnout they did.

If Trump would have acquiesced to the left stealing the election via massive election fraud?

You can continue to say that, but your words mean nothing.

PA told both the House and Senate not to count their votes due to election fraud.

After the fact, you can't prove anything that is actionable. You can produce all the statistical and circumstantial evidence there is (and there is a lot in this case), but you have to get it down to specific ballots to win anything. Once the ballots are in the box, there simply isn't much you can do.

What republicans should have done was to focus on saving the two seats in Georgia, and on finding ways to provide adequate controls to prevent fraud in the future (which we do not have now).

Probably also didn't help that Lin Wood stood on stage at a rally urged people to not vote.

Then don't take my word for it. Put forth the evidence.

And it doesn't matter what the PA house and senate do at this point. Unless they authorize and send an additional slate of electors to DC before 1:00 p.m. today, their grandstanding is moot.

RE: Georgia Election 2021
Scary how many people actually believe the lie that Biden’s tax plan (which i’d imagine will now be implemented right away with these results, assuming the senate votes partisan) won’t have any effect on their lives because they aren’t a corporation and don’t make $400,000 a year.

I suspect a good amount of people in this country just voted to pay more money out of pocket for everyday products while their wages/salary will remain the same.

I’m sure the government will make good use of the extra tax money. They always do.

Bailing out the blue states will be item number 1.

I would have to imagine that the $2k stimulus will come with a bailout for the blue states.

Yup. Raised taxes being used to fix problems of wasteful tax spending.

Let’s forget about the foreign governments. They’re big winners in this too.
